Zygor sure has jumped the shark

Why would anyone pay for this garbage?

Its a fetish i have, besides i turned 78 today I’m debt free and I spend my money like I want. I survived the Vietnam war i get to do what i want

Single Ultra Wide monitor here also.

This has to be satire yes? Like people who still claim to run Windows XP “bEcAuSe It Is StAbLe”?

Good gods if not. Paid guides were always a joke but are ESPECIALLY a joke today.

For leveling at least (before I found out you could just get boosted in like an hour), I used RestedXp Guides. Never payed for it tho, there was a free one floating around the group of people I play with.

Out of curiosity, I have been playing with APR (Azeroth Pilot Reloaded). It is free and does exactly what Zygor does re questing with a less polished interface.

Azeroth Auto Pilot has been abandoned, so ignore recommendations for that addon.

I find the UI pretty lacking. Most people can probably figure it out. Basically, here is what you need to know to make it work.

Choose “new character” if you want to (or must) level through BFA content.
Choose “custom” if you want to select a zone at a time.
Choose “speedrun” if you are on a new character and want someone else to think up your leveling route.

The most important command you’ll need to know is “/apr skip” which you need to type if you have already made progress in a given zone without the addon.

For those dumping on you in this thread, there is other functionality that comes with the addon such as auto turning in quests and skipping cutscenes.

Overall, the addon is virtually worthless to me. I tested it to satisfy a particular curiosity. I generally find the instructions distracting or unnecessary the vast majority of the time and useless when I’m actually unsure how to do something.

This is where something Kaliel tracker and Wowhead come in. You can right click on a quest and get a URL straight to the comments.

I also think there are better addons for auto turn-in and such. I don’t use them, but last I knew, Leatrix does stuff like that, so maybe check it out.

Hope that helps.

Its more than questing for me, its the achievements and mount farming etc

People who don’t want to pay 2 subscriptions for a game.
:dracthyr_shrug:

You are welcome. There are other free addons for that. Good luck.

All The Things does it better, and costs nothing.

Face it, bud - you’ve been swindled for years. Glad you’re out now.

A lot of people? I hate multiple monitors.

I dont feel swindled, I have enjoyed it for years, but what im saying is since DF launched i see a remarkable difference in quality for the new content

Then it was a good swindle.

Guides are completely unnecessary to level up in modern WoW. Zygor is pretty awesome for WoW Classic, though.

the games getting less popular but you expect people doing Zygor to continue to work on wow? get used to it the smaller the game gets the crappier these things will be.

BTWQuests is an addon I recently installed to help with questlines or parts of questlines that I may have missed in the game. So far I like it.

no but I open it up on the second montoir and good to go lol

Low key.

XP and 7 were garbage OSes. Windows really didn’t get good until 10.

And it’s still garbage on 10 and 11 since explorer.exe and registry exist.

I see what you did there
clever. lol

My monitor is very large, ultra wide. Brand new. I don’t need 2 monitors?
