Zul'Farrak is full of level 60 mages

just stop talking

There are two effects here. The actual farming of game gold by vendoring items and looting coin off of mobs inflates the entire economy – more gold is in the system. This higher monetary supply is inflationary. Just the presence of more gold in the system tends to push prices up. But this effect is offset by the hoarding of gold by “rich” players.

The creation of herbs, ore, chant mats, boes, and epics pushes the cost of those items down – more supply of boe epics = more supply and lower prices of nearly everything in game. The net effect on the average player is largely positive. There’s a healthy economy where they can buy the items they need/want.

My alchemy transmute (arcanite) is every 2 days. Is there a better one that is every day? I do the 3 cooldowns (LW, Tail, Alc) and get 3-4g per day average for each of them. It isn’t 100g per day, but it’s just a minute or two, and it adds up.

I don’t do AH sniping. That isn’t fun for me. Some people love it and (as you say) make lots of gold from it.

You can farm Pendulum of Doom five hours a day for a year and never see one, unfortunately. Abysmal drop rate. Consistency is key when farming.

Can go for that once in a while to test your luck. Still can find other things on the way.

Dude are you for real, cause you’re getting my hopes up lol. I would LOVE to play a hunter–more than a mage–but if I am going to make a gold-farming alt…it seems silly to make one that can’t make as good (or nearly as good) of a gold grind as mages. Man, my mage is only level 7 or something, it isn’t too late to reroll. Are you being literal with those numbers?

Yes. You can absolutely make 100g/hour doing solo tribute runs on a hunter. And you can do it in crappy gear too.

If you decide to go this route just be prepared to die while learning to do it right. You will die a lot when you first start. I spent many hours wiping before I even cleared it once. Now I only die maybe once every ~6 to 8 runs on average. I usually complete a run from start to finish in about 15 minutes.

Also make sure you have engineering and enchanting for max profits. Engineering is needed to open the second door. Enchanting allows you to disenchant the greens and some of the blues that drop for max profit.

Cool, thank you, I really appreciate the info!

Yeah no prob. There’s like a million YouTube videos. Just search something like “Classic hunter tribute solo”. Watch a few of those and you’ll get a pretty good idea of how to do it.
