So I was trying to get the 34 slot bag from Bronjahm, but then was turned into a zombie during the fight. When I blew up and came back to get my corpse, it didn’t even let me loot Bronjahm.
I have to wait 3 effing hours to kill this guy and then this crap happens? Why wasn’t I even allowed to loot when I was fighting him before becoming a zombie?
This is basically Blizzard griefing players and violating its own rules. This crap needs to stop because the 34 bag slot is a limited time item.

Did he die while you were still a zombie or did he die while you were running back as a ghost after you blew up?
If it’s while you were a ghost, that’s normal behavior for world bosses. If you die and don’t think you’ll make it back before the kill, don’t release. Otherwise you won’t be able to loot unless you make it back in time to re-tag the boss.
Edit: Plus, if it’s like the Nathanos, being turned into a zombie makes you neutral to him and takes you off the threat table, so you’d need to explode yourself immediately and hope you can run back and retag before he dies.

I died like 1 sec before he died, so when I came back he was dead, but I couldn’t even loot. Other times when I’ve died from the rare, I’ve always been able to come back and loot and get at least the scourgestones.
unfortunately this kind of stuff is gonna happen, best you can do is try again when that rare pops up, I think it’s on a 4 hour rotation, but I might be wrong

No, it’s not, and no they aren’t.
Have you checked the mail box?

Just to touch on this: the rules we agree to is what we agree to play the game, they apply to us, the players, not Blizzard in this term.

I’m going to be frank here. It’s a bag. I’m sorry it didn’t drop but you could go do one good world quest or a couple of lesser ones and get yourself a 32 slot off the AH and just save yourself the headache. If I had any alts over there I’d send you one myself.
The hyperbole is unnecessary.

Aren’t the zombies only in the cities?
Some players found ways to get them to unlikely places.

Nope, if you can get there in a minute, you can spread it. It creates a debuff that you need to cleanse at one of the npc healers, let the timer tick out, or if you die before the timer runs out you get turned into a zombie. Then you get 2 abilities that spread the plague.
There were some players flying out the icecrown spots just now.
