WTF BLIZZARD!!! I can see doing this on a PvP server, but not on a PvE. I can’t defend myself w/out being PvP but these damn zombies can attack me while I’m PvE? C’mon man. Please please fix this.
Same was said during Warlords, 5.6 Million Lost Subscribers that Blizzard NEVER Got back; walks up and smacks you in the mouth.
Think before you try to enrage more players to leave.
Expansions, patches, content NEED paying subcribers, YOU Do KNOW this right? This is WHY! you got a recycled Wrath of the Lich King Pre-Patch Event!

You know Blizz, this makes it easier for me to not buy Shadowlands and go back to classic. I already refunded it earlier. If you’re gonna piss on how I want to play this game by forcing me into PVP or into being griefed, then I will just take my hard-earned money elsewhere. That GW2 expansion looks mighty delicious right now.
It’s only for a week.
If you play an alt, you can do the new leveling area (no zombies!) then at level 10, make your way to the quest board, pick up chromie time and then go to chromie - you can depart the main areas and go to an xpac where there i are no zombies.
granted, you might get killed a bunch of times on the way, but it’s not too terrible.
Please let us know what the minimum amount of time to be upset about our gameplay being interrupted is. A month? A content patch?

The zombie event is the only thing currently making this game playable for some of us.

If someone unsubs because of a 1 week neat event and cant figure out the work arounds… then yea, ultra Karen, goodbye. Blizzard makes PLENTY of money off of this game LOL.

This is not right or fair to those of us who do not want to PvP and want to try to experience the other events going on in Icecrown. Players are literally griefing just to prevent people from being able to get any loot from the Icecrown rares, or even finish dailies. What’s the point of all of the non-PvP Death Rising content if we can’t even do it?
I am completely fine with a PvP event existing in the capital cities. This was explained and known before the event started. What I can’t accept or agree with is as a non-PvPer on a PvE realm, being forced into PvP over and over OUTSIDE OF THE CAPITAL CITIES and being griefed with the only intent to prevent me from being able to play the game and the non-PvP events going on.

No one is being forced to PvP. You think the other faction is just gonna barge into SW so they can find and gank you? Well, I suppose they might now that people have cried on the forums so much, but this wasn’t happening before except for in a few isolated instances.
Besides, you can just leave your faction’s capital.
