Do i really have to farm the entire story and REP on every single alt of mine to be able to get the legendary belt and conduits fr? please someone tell me this aint true. if so blizz is so lame. the story isnt super long at least so far so thats not bad but rep grinding on every single toon i play to upgrade my conduits is really lame

You must be new to the game I’m guessing. Yes you do, this is normal for every reputation. This is how they keep you playing the game and spend more time on alts instead of unsubbing.

Seems so. The rep is brutally tiresome IMO, can’t force myself to do it on alts if even to craft stuff [to sell].

So basically if you want conduits as a pvper you gotta grind the rep on every single toon lmao blizz is losing their mind that should be an account wide item ima just rock 200 ilvl conduits all xpac i guess. not grinding this out on every single toon i play every class aside from dk

The Memory of Unity is an account-wide unlock. Only one character has to reach revered to buy it, then all of your characters just have it in their powers after you learn it.
The conduits I don’t think are. You’ll have to do those individually. But the 226 one is at friendly so that at least is very easy to get.

For the conduits yes. Farm rep on all characters sadly.
Although you can opt into doing korthia right now.

I’m not new to the game by any means, but for some reason the Enlightened rep feels particularly painful to work on for alts - and this is coming from someone who did the Korthia grind on half a dozen characters… It would be nice if they started out the Enlightened rep with some of the “alt friendly” changes they made to Korthia (such as certain purchases unlocking as purchasable account-wide once earned on one character, as well as ways to boost rep gain on alts).

Correct, they want you to grind for conduits.
I believe the 278 conduit item also requires elite or glad/mythic jailer/ or keystone hero achievement in order to purchase. So unless you’ve historically gained those during a season then no you don’t need to grind the rep
Also you get the belt for free just for doing the campaign, which takes like half an hour.
I really enjoy all of the people that are taking the opportunity to whine about grinds here that don’t know that there is basically no grind in 9.2. Just proves that people will complain just to complain.

You get an ilvl 265 belt that cant be upgraded so if this works for said class its 100% fine. You need to unlock the pattern AND craft a new belt if you want it at rank 7 or want it on any other slot. The fact its account wide is the only reason ill be playing alts in 9.2 and the 226 conduit will have to be enough.

Yes but the belt isn’t a tier slot so you shouldn’t need to craft it on any other slot.
Also, the important part is that it’s a 2nd legendary power. The iLVL is less important, and 265 is already pretty good anyway.

That type of thing comes in a .5 patch.

So id need to lose a tier slot to create it (currently using it on belt) on helm to keep unity on belt, or craft unity on another slot that doesnt interfere or pick a worse second leggo.

Yes, just as every PvE’er who has to PvP to get certain weapons, gear and mounts.
It’s a good thing there are FOUR other tier slots.
