I wish the game was just funner than it is, all these benefits are superficial. Like, getting extra honor or whatever doesnā€™t change gameplay. They should make healers more impactful

How? I donā€™t know. WOD Rdruid felt good back then since you could actually make plays.

Pressing cocoon/BOP/spirit link totem when someone is low is hardly a play tbh

Once the ladder inflates that 2400 is a cakewalk, sure, spamming games as healer will be the go to for legend. Probably in season 2 with the way blizz react to playersā€™ feedback.

Maybe their strategy is keeping a leash on healers until end of season to force them to keep playing, but as weā€™ve seen the last 3 seasons it never works out that way. Itā€™s still strictly always easier on dps.

Healers queā€™d up early season because of the blue post saying they were going to fix the disparity, and quickly realized it was a lie so they left again. Simple as that.

They can slap us in the face giving free rating to specs like BM, but G-D forbid healers are overrepresented in anything. But whatever. People are tired of hearing healers complain. Iā€™m not going to do it anymore. Itā€™s my last thread talking about it. Bask in the silence. Iā€™ll just get a 2nd and 3rd account to abuse multiqueing like all the other dps instead of wasting my time complaining about it any further.

Healing is just the casual andy role for getting 1800 in 2s/shuff and quitting. No reason for any good player to waste their time. Might as well strip it down to 5 abilities and put in ai autotargeting team mates like they did for ret so the moba chads can get in on the transmog action. Or just turn it into literal bots so nobody has to waste their time healing anymore.

I would welcome a change in approach to healers in PVP more than a lazy MMR inflation, which is probably what weā€™ll get anyways

If Iā€™ve said it once Iā€™ve said it a million times. A healers job is to keep people alive, when they successfully fullfill this job in arena they are punished, see dampening. Then the icing on the cake is when healers are keeping people alive through 70% dampening because DPS canā€™t tie their shoelaces without face planting eventually the healer runs oom and thise same bad DPS who canā€™t do jack finally get a kill and start running their mouth like they did anything beside fail until blizzard finally gave them the pity win.

Meanwhile the healer who outplayed every single person in the lobby loses MMR and has to deal with the same bad DPS who couldnā€™t be bothered to use their millions of CCs to set up in a kill in the 30 minutes he kept them standing, running their mouth at him and calling him bad.

There is a reason I only heal arena partners I know, so I wonā€™t have to deal with that garbage.

Iā€™d love if blizzard just added stats to people or we had a WCL thing for arena.

Imagine being able to mouse over some form reroll warrior and see ā€œLands 25% of attempted kicksā€ ā€œpresses a cd once every 4 gamesā€

It is time to give up on american games in terms of balancing, because they just canā€™t.
For ex in MK1 after Homelander patch, latest tournament had 6 Homelanders in top 8, playing mirrors vs each other. In WoW it is the same : something is broken - you log in and q all day into that and drop the game.

Matchmaking should be over all players in lobby, not separated by role
Remember when you could get 1400 rated DPS with 1800 healers in DF?? (or vice versa)

It really is insane. Healers should get 1 conq token per win, not just 1 for playing.

I just lvld an alt druid and opened my warbank to see how much conquest I could transfer overā€¦ 14 tokensā€¦ 700 conquest. Gee, I replaced a trinket XD

For healing FOURTEEN lobbies, or 84 rounds. If I Qd 84 3s games, Iā€™d be fully capped on conquest.

Also, itā€™s still absolutely insane to me that they donā€™t just add gold as a real reward; again, it should be for rounds won and scaled to your rating so thereā€™s no incentive to just smurf for easy games.
