There’s a difference between “game breaking bugs get fixed first” and “we don’t care.”
I just want it turned into flight form. It’s completely dumb and useless in its current state, imo.

Honestly, Blizzard would rather viciously slit the throat of an innocent — before they’d undo a change that removed the essence of fun from their game.
Blizzard: “Fun detected?!? 
OUTRAGEOUS!!”
{Fun Gameplay is removed from the game}
Players: "Pwease Blizzlords, may we have our fun back? 
"
Blizzard: “AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA – No.”
And thus … Blizzard then light-up their cigar, count their cash and mute the fanbase, all whilst pissing on the grave of the fun they gleefully butchered.

They’ll go through a lot of effort to show you otherwise, except they’d never undo. At best you have to hope they make it “different” or simply still nerfed, never just undo.
They’ve been removing more and more stuff to do while mounted, most likely it was missed for this long cause, well, who plays monks?

Like what? Are they making ground mounts have features like vigor?
You used to be able to interact with any “orange hand” object while on a passenger mount. Stuff like the stables in the garrison and other Legion enabled interactable while mounted perks have all gone away. Can’t herb while mounted on someone else’s sandstone drake as of a few expansion ago. Used to be able to take portals together while mounted, can’t do that anymore. I don’t know if it’s cause in Dragonflight we got talents that had specific trees dedicated to that but they’ve been culling the list of things to do while on a mount for quite a while. Another notable mention of killing this functionality is druid steady flight herbing requires you to be on the ground now.

Still hoping for the patch where Blizz makes zen flight a dynamic flying mount.
Either way, this is complete garbage that the company who did this “change” can’t even address it and just leave us in the dark. I don’t care what decisions are made but if they don’t have the professionalism to be transparent the only ones playing games is Blizzard. Post something quickly please otherwise you just causing grief and confusion.

Sounds fun but I just want it to be the way it was with optional improvements/changes.

I’m a druid. I am all for it. Cast times are lame anyway (and why is there a c/d on Soar for the love of Thrall???)
Of course my favorite alt is a monk so maybe I am not all together altruistic. 
Anyways, not being able to fish while on a cloud seems… weird and biased against monks. Give em something! BrM is literally the worst thing in the game right now (including augvoker in this statement)…

They will do ANYTHING they can do to increase play time of the player base. If it adds 15 seconds to a monk collecting items in a quest then it is a win for Blizzard.
They have made it painfully clear they do not want us to having classic flying at the same time as dragonriding.

They do want to time gate but it’s not just for minutes played or retaining subs, they know their player base will experience what I call game fatigue. A percentage of players will switch games for awhile due to time gating or tedious features or something too hard or OP etc. Giving those players a chance to spread their money to other games, perhaps even more willing to pay2win or pay to grind skip.
Absurd conspiracy theory perhaps, but they probably noticed this happening since MOP and made it progressively worse as the years gone by - WoD/Legion/BFA/ SHADOWLANDS… I’m not saying everyone was in on it but people like Bobby Kotick and/or lead developers would pull strings make certain demands structure conditions etc, to make time gating more and more necessary. So an obvious percentage would switch to another blizzard game to boost that games time played and money spent, even other AAA games. Then they’d go to the golf course with other ceos or wtv with multi million dollar gaming companies and laugh about it LOL.

So tired of Blizzard’s slop in this game. I was away a month or so because of real life issues. I come back today to find the new orphan quests to be such a trash pile they must have been coded by AI. Reading up on all the ways Blizz boned up the new patch, and now Zen Flight is even more nerfed? Honestly, not sure why I’m even back.
Zen Flight sounds like a cheap airline, maybe they’re just trying to represent that?
Makes me sad. Zen flight is so fun.
