Denote is the correct usage. However its best not to keep antagonized people unless you say something that might earn you a forum vacation. Using “Haha” to start your responses is a gesture of mocking someone for trying to counter argue something they feel is valid. Emet is valid in his right to express his opinions but you shouldn’t mock him and instead say “My bad, I didn’t think it would have come off that way.” instead of further digging this hole you are already so deep in. Best to stop before you can’t climb out.

It is ridiculous to call something racism when it is impossible to be racist on this forum because you don’t know anyone’s race.
What that guy doesn’t seem to get is we come from different countries and just because that may be the usage in the US, it isn’t the usage elsewhere. It is ridiculous to make a claim like that when the context is clear.

Again. You could have said. “Sorry in my country-” Pretty sure Emet would have backed off if you apologized and explained that you’re not from the US and the the term has a very different tone in your country.

ZC I’m missing dragon parts, the toy and pets because no one is killing rares and you need a group to kill them.
I sat in a group finder for 45 minutes for a rare when I started Shadowlands in 9.1 when everyone else has already done it. I gave up after 45 minutes and vowed to never do that again for a rare.
Forbidden Reach is dead too, passing through rares with no one around to kill them with. Even if I do stumble with one more person waiting too, two players doesn’t work either.
Forbidden Reach is a ghost town too.

this is what is always going to happen when they bring new content into the game at the pace they are doing. Blizzard knows this will happen because it has happened the entire course of the game. They don’t think it is a problem though and I agree with them.
I understand they plan on putting additional content in forbidden reach at a later date and people who missed stuff can go back there again.
Yes, but unlike the caverns, I can join a group to farm rares there and if there isn’t one up, I can list one and fill it up. The BOA gear makes it worthwhile still.

Where does it say that you’re from another country and that the term has a different tone where you’re from? You’re response is an antagonistic one especially with the clown emoji tacked onto it. Not once did you relay to Emet. “In my country-” So technically the fault does lie with you for not approaching the matter more civil and letting it spiral. You did not once try to de-escalate.

You are 100% correct I didn’t do that because his original statement was ridiculous to me. I didn’t realize until I went to hunt for a definition to post for that term that in the US it is used the way he describes so it is a country/culture difference.
Zaralek is probably the worst zone they’ve ever implemented. It’s a current content zone and it’s completely empty besides maybe 1-2 rares that get farmed.
Mistakes happen in the heat of discussion and sometimes people flub. I understand it may be difficult to get your point across especially on such a topic where different countries have different views. The best we can do when we feel like we’re not making any progress on a topic or getting our point across is to take a step back and collect our thoughts before we pursue further discussion. You might find there is a different approach or something you missed in your initial statement.
It’s also hard to know beforehand how certain terms might affect someone from another country. Perhaps a better term than “you people” would be “everyone else” in the future.
I didn’t mean everyone else though - I meant a certain group of people who play the game in the same manner or think about things in the same way, i.e. raiders/mythic plus people who complained they were being FORCED to do world content.

Maybe 2 expansions from now Ill be able to solo it, if it doesnt bug by then as we’ve seen old content bugs last 10 years and running. BTW, when will I be able to place monuments in my garrison again?

Then perhaps just saying it in a longer term.

I find being more specific, even if it makes my point longer, helps bring in a less antagonistic approach because “you people” feels like you’re casting blame where as “People who feel like they are being forced to do content” has a more subtle, less aggressive but more specific direction.
This is what was said:
“I strongly suspect you are one of the types who complained about being FORCED to do world content and now you are having to life with the results of blizzard catering to you people.”
