I’m going to go out on a limb here and say he’s not having fun because he’s failing mechanics and getting owned.
If not, he can show the tier from the challenges he beat.

I won’t disagree. I’m just here for the mount.
Why would players do content they dont find fun?
As I said above, I got to trial of humility and then I was like “I cannot force myself to do this unfun bs anymore”
oh I know, sorry I was just trolling before, clearly OP is talking about about finding a purian for the steward of the day in bastion!
Just thought I would comeback and recommend cat videos.
Obviously more fun.
for me its snakebite videos
I just tried the Star Wars Christmas Special.
Flashbacks of mage tower.
I feels like path of ascension. Very much like path of ascension.
And I’m sure there’s probably some obscure way to do the feral version like running out of range of the boss and mass rooting adds or some other equally non intuitive gimmick… Just don’t feel like brute forcing the encounter with every possible gimmick I can think of.
It’s not really the most valuable criticism, though. “It’s not fun”, “I don’t like it”, “It’s bad”, are about the most useless kinds of criticism you can offer. He’s entitled to his opinion, of course, but it really gives nothing to act on to improve it.
For one thing, the rewards themselves are just terrible, that particular WoD set looked like beast upchuck BEFORE they painted it Barney purple…
At this point I think it is.
They need to make things fun to play. If it’s even doable by every spec there’s only tiny minority of players that are going to enjoy beating their head against the wall for hours to find what ever non intuitive gimmick you need to beat it.
If the gimmick is putting together some time walking set… well, I just spent the last year putting together this set. Months leveling gems conduits and gear, and I would consider a solution of “now level an obscure set of gear to leverage our arbitrary scaling process” NOT FUN.
In isolation, yes. This is 100% true.
At this point in wow, however, a lot of players feel like their detailed in-depth criticisms fall of deaf ears, so it then proceeds to “what’s even the point of giving detailed feedback if they just do it anyway and then tell us we’re going to love it?”
It’s kinda rough either way, sadly
If I had any sort of indication that blizzard was even reading player feedback, such less doing anything about it, i would feel far less jaded and far more interested in providing in-depth paragraphs.
I mean… It’s not. There’s not a slider for “fun” that they can turn up and down.
If you just want to vocalize your displeasure, you’re completely entitled to that. But actual examples of why you find something “not fun” are much more valuable than that statement alone.
Does it deal too much damage? That’s actionable feedback. Are the mechanics too complicated/unclear, too fast to respond to? Those are actionable. Does it just take too long to do? Does the scaling make you feel bad? (That looks like something you’re unhappy with) Is it buggy-- what bugs are you experiencing?
And I’m mostly speaking in the abstract. You not having fun is 100% valid. You’re not wrong to feel that way. Just, as far as feedback goes, it’s not very useful.
Also totally valid. Not much point in giving thought out feedback when they aren’t going to care anyway.
Another issue with pushing this.
Is it a me problem or a Blizzard problem?
Right now they don’t have the best track record with things like path of ascension so I’m not sure I want to risk hours on this only to find it’s a blizzard problem. Which brings us back to my original assessment, not worth it.

After about a month of nothing from Abomination stitchyard I just gave up. It’s a stick on a stick with a 0.1% chance that there’s MAYBE a carrot on the end of the second stick…
