Yup another warcrate problem post

I dont want to switch to alliance, but man ive only gotten 6 warcrates since the release.
Kinda makes it hard to gear up since im pure PvP and im pretty sure alliance already completed Weapons of Conquest I barely have 290/2500 conquest gained and all from warcrates.

Edit; another failed attempt just now, 2 horde vs 15 alliance

Edit; so every 30 minutes alliance are just farming crates

No one has completed this yet because there’s a weekly seasonal cap on Conquest.

Next week, everyone should be able to complete it.

Just do some battlegrounds if you need conquest.

Ive done countless BG’s as horde since dragonflight and LOST ALMOST every time.

I decided not to do BG or EPIC Bgs for mental health reasons

Im trying to gear up for solo rated BGs

You wouldn’t be making that suggestion if the horde always got all warcrates.

Blizzard can’t control player behavior. If all the Horde opt out of war mode, then this is what happens.

My point was that conquest can be achieved through various means and is easy enough for anyone to cap.

Make a group or join a group that’s what Ally players had to do back in BFA when things were reversed.

My suggestion. If the imbalance gets as bad as it did in BFA I won’t be surprised when the horde get 15% and a quest.

Horde already fluctuates between 10% and 15% as it is. For the first week of TWW and third week it was 15% WM bonus.

We don’t get quest unless it’s at 20% or higher, same how Alliance had it.

Well than it sounds like you are already doing better than the BFA Alliance did at the start of WM so that should be encouraging.

From the interviews with Ion during BfA, he had stated that Alliance never really had a population problem at the start of WM, but rather it was a sharding bug with group finder that made shards skewed. By the time they fixed it, negative perception of War Mode from Alliance players had taken it’s toll and they had turned it off.

Thats when they started doing the bonuses to get them to come back.

Personally, I’m not complaining about there more being Alliance to kill. I like it, lots more people to potentially grief once I get back into the rhythm of things.

They definitely don’t have one in Wm now and even if they did most pvp zones are free for all so their will always be something to kill.

That was my sentiment all of BFA.

I’ve never been one for griefing someone as I always felt like it was poor sportsmanship. 2 to 3 time tops unless they continue to engage after I have moved on.

Griefing = poor sportsmanship
Using unattended exploits to gain an advantage = equivalent to using steroids.

You can’t grief when the alliance outnumbers you ten to one.

A level 79 prot warrior was killing my level 73 warrior pretty relentlessly. I swapped to my dk and began to camp. Within the second kill, the zerg arrived.

They’ll call for help in general and that will be that.

I didn’t let them kill me.
I just dungeoned out, hearthed, and returned to kill the warrior again.
lol.

I get crates but only when they’re close by and I can rush them, otherwise there’s five Alliance on the ground waiting for the drop - and ten by the time it’s actually claimable.

If they implemented a buff like Tenacity from old Wintergrasp it would be quickly exploited, but the bonuses granted by being outnumbered can’t make up for the resources we’re unable to compete for. I really don’t see any realistic way to balance it because it’s all player choice.

Need more people on Horde getting their friends to go crate hunting with them. Working on it slowly on WRA with FLAK.

But yeh, just need more active participants grabbing friends on horde for now until the pop balances back out.

Epic BGs are my go to. Win ratio is around 50%, probably more wins than losses tbh. There are definitely times when Alliance is doing better, and vice versa. Just quit sweating it so much and queue up and have fun. The wins will come.

Grab some guildies/friends to go crate hunting. Post in LFG. SPARKS quests are weekly, they also give conquest. You can join groups for those, and often they go for crates when they drop. Or you can host the SPARKS group yourself, and get them to go after crates while there too…

Lots of solutions.

I wasn’t home when you posted this, but this video inspired me to camp the STV arena and sell the trinket to people by refusing to let anyone else get it back in wotlk. I made a ton of gold doing that until I killed the wrong guy.

“I’ll be back for the next trinket with my whole guild.”

Yeah, yeah I didn’t believe him.

He did it though, lol.

Edit: wrong video. It was Cranius’s Last Man Standing.

Unlike him, I actually sat on the chest.

I love that video lol and still have fond memories of the gurubashi arena beat downs, getting ganked and saying the very samething to my guild mates back in the day.

Creating memories for a whole new generation is meaningful work. :grinning:

On a side note I was in one heck of fight on my pally last night in Azj-Kahet and seen most were from moon gaurd and ED so I was on the lookout for you! But sadly spent most of the time getting my cheeks clapped by a monk/Feral team.

I was there with a prevoker.
had a bounty for about twentyish minutes before I died.
I had to pee so bad that I was thankful when I finally bit it.
