I think she was saying that if the Night Elves lost faith in Elune because of the WoT, they should’ve lost it during the Sundering and the War of the Shifting Sands as well.
Sounded like you were talking about in-game racism to me?

As an NE Main I think I am ready for less Night Elf content. The last time they gave us center stage they blew up my friggin’ house. If they think Ysera stories count, then fine. Better than getting the genocide stick again.
It’s impassably stupid that any troll at all worships Elune tbh.
Especially when the Loa have been shown numerous times to be way more active and helpful towards their followers
Not even that just. Elune approved of and loved night elves for committing the largest genocide Azeroth has ever seen against the trolls. Like. Blizzard likes the smell of their own farts.
Blizz are hypocrites. It’s okay when the beautiful purple elves commit a global genocide. But the horde burns a tree? Irredeemable monsters for life.
Don’t get me wrong, teldrassil was terrible, I just really hate the double standards blizz often employs
Trolls deserve better. Blizzard needs to stop treating their constant genocides as joke.
That’s kind of my point. Narratively, it’s a weird breaking point for a night elf. Maybe Delaryn, because she’s stated to be pretty young… But a novel and multiple quests later, I’m still unclear on what the heck is Sira’s deal about every other night elf (not just Tyrande).
I don’t know. Maybe someone really wanted a warden fight.
Wait, but what about the Lun’alai? They worship Elune (in all but name) and are outcasts as far as the Horde is concerned.
They shouldn’t exist. Elune loved and empowered the Night Elves whomst genocided the trolls.
Damn highborne.
Can’t take them ANYWHERE.
It wasn’t just the Highborne. The normies loved Azshara and took part, too.
After its population was decimated. That’s from the Alliance story.
They were all Highborne, some of them literally cheering the Demons on as they slaughtered the peasant castes.
And yet apperently there are enough elves to rebuild Astranaar and even reinforce it. This is as of Exploring Kalimdor, which is after the fourth War. Populations in WoW have never really matter.
I’m just going to have to disagree here. Trolls are not a monolith anymore than any other race is. I get where you’re coming from, though.
What.
Elune is literally the matron of their entire race being cast down.
And Trolls already hold a grudge against Elves for what they did.
So why do you think Trolls would hold a grudge against Elves but not Elune?

You’re right, I’m wrong. We good?
And Elune did what exactly to stop bad events like the WOT, or the Sundering? Nothing, elune´s promise is ““When others receive life and energy from you, you too shall receive life and energy from me.””
Elunes promise was never “I´ll protect you from any harm”.
You must enthusiastically proclaim your conversion before you can be shot.
