Again, it happened over 13,000 years ago.
Recognize that it happened, recognize the gravity of what happened, but getting hung up on it is honestly a bit foolish.
We don’t get hung up on the genocides committed by the Roman Empire or the Persian Empire for example. I mean hell, the Romans wiped out the entire town of Carthage in 146 BC. That gets mentioned in history, sure, but if you tried to get upset about hypocrisy and brought up the Roman destruction of Carthage as a ‘yeah but look at this.’ pretty much every historian would tell you to pipe down because that happened thousands of years ago.
By all means get upset at the hypocrisy on display when it comes to Zuldazar and Teldrassil. Go right ahead. But ancient history is exactly that, ancient. No troll alive today in WoW lore was alive when the Night Elves genocided the trolls to build their empire, and I highly doubt any Night Elf alive today was around when that happened either (although immortal grandpa elf could theoretically be a thing).
Either way I see no reason to continue this argument, since we’re going around in circles. So I’m going to mute the thread and step out. Ya’ll have a nice night.
