I mean, I get it but also… I just can’t shake off the whole time thing.
Okay, so if this was a ‘oh it’s hypocritical’ comparison between Teldrassil and Zuldazar. That I could totally understand. Both events happened in the same year, both involved an enemy army destroying a city, both had civilians being slaughtered, both involved an immense loss of life.
So if someone was saying “Oh pipe down about Zuldazar, it wasn’t a big deal!” but then they got really upset about Teldrassil I’d be calling them out for their hypocrisy myself.
But I can’t justify that same argument when we go back over 13,000 years. That just doesn’t make sense to me. Recognize that it happened, yes. Recognize the gravity of what was done, yes. But trying to use it as a “Well you did this to us!” style argument just doesn’t work for me.
