You're welcome Alliance

So for exactly how many years should just sit and laugh off being the butt of the dev's jokes?

Spams /flare a whole bunch followed by tar traps galore

....What? Mercenary mode's a thing ya'know.
I'm old enough to make a difference between funny and snarky, between a joke and a jab. They didnt even had the courage to leave the comment on the screen.
Expecting Blizzard staff to not be Horde-biased and take shots at Alliance is like watching a Red Sox game in Boston and looking for it to be fair and unbiased against the Yankees.
Large chunks of the game are inaccessible and/or borderline unplayable for half the player base. Hilarious!

Or, it used to be half before it started nose diving, anyway.

Faction disparity is one of my main concerns against putting any more time or money into this game. It's like they're actively trying to get people to unsubscribe.

Really Blizz?

Not only you are responsible for the imbalance between the factions but Alliance should thank you for it?

I admit, i've had some doubt about people saying that Blizzcon was a place full of snarky comments about the Alliance from the bias devs. So yes, thank you for removing all my doubts.

But i'll thank you more no worries. I'll thank you by not buying virtual tickets anymore and i wll also thank you by not puting a foot in your BGs and by turning my warmode off.

Thank you Blizz devs.

Most likely not even a community manager will read my post but their little "joke" cost them 2 accounts with a 6 month recurring subscription. As a paying customer I absolutely refuse to be insulted by a company. The employees are not working for free. They are being paid for their work and their work is to create content to entertain their customers like me. Horde players are encourage to show faction pride and praised for doing so but when Alliance does it we get insulted and snarky comments like "lol the Alliance isn't real." "It's just a game bro calm down." and "lol you're not a real <insert Alliance race/class here> grow up."

I can tolerate insults like that from players from the opposing faction but when the company employees do it on an international stage you bet I'll show them there are consequences for the actions of their employees. I want a Blizz rep to look at my transaction history and realize just how much their little "joke" cost their company.

You people need to learn how to take a joke. If it had said "You're welcome horde" in something of a similar fashion i would have still laughed, you need to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes, no reason to be so uptight.

I've been laughing at myself for the last 8 years for being an Alliance player. 8 years on almost 11 paying to play a faction that even the Blizz staff don't want to play. I think i have proven that i can take jokes. Sorry to feel like that but it's just not funny anymore.

Classic Rogue ninja looting.

jesus, what did they say now?

They belittled the Alliance playerbase because of the faction imbalance they created in PvP, which is also spilling over into PvE now

I'm with you on this one OP, I'll never buy a virtual ticket no matter what, I don't care what mount they tie to it!
The joke is how those AI bots will help more the Horde players with their long BGs queues than they will help what's left of the Alliance players that still pvp.

The devs are simply saying "hey look Alliance, we don't need you anymore."
Totally with OP and all the others. We don't need to grow thicker skin. When we've been exposing undeniable bias toward the Horde for the whole expansion and the devs mock is when they give us a perceived 'solution to the faction imbalance.' This is just demoralizing.

The devs create their own problems by saying it's too difficult to write morally good story or that its more fun to write morally grey like Batman for the Horde, even though it's their own story and they don't need to write Alliance as Mary Sues.

When imbalance is a real issue, prevalent in the game and the declining sub rates, they throw in a fix and mock us while they're at it.

It's all very childish. I no longer have any expectations of the developers and story writers of this game. They're the ones creating this decline and they're too far trapped in their Horde circle to realize it's their own fault.
Considering how much the Alliance crys and crys about every little thing like entitled little brats can you blame them?

Horde complains about not liking being forced to side with Saurfang and it gets immediately changed.

Alliance complain wanting to actually have playable content and complain about not wanting to get shafted in every skirmish and barely see any response even.

How do u know that was changed and wasn't already plan to give a choice in that situation?

The playerbase is just quick to yell wolf about everything even if its unfinished horde does it but the Alliance is 100x worse always crying horde bias for any reason they can find
That's it; I'm rerolling Horde. I'm DONE playing on the losing faction. Goodbye Alliance it was a nice 12 years I guess.

The jokes on them really and they are too dense to see it.

Basically this.

Horde complain too. But the devs respond to them. Which is why it always looks like Alliance 'cry' longer and louder than Horde ever do. It really only ever takes one-three forums posts for Horde ptr content to change--> which is literally what happened with the Saurfang questline.

It takes the notoriety of red-shirt guy to write a insanely detailed and well argued blog post to get the Tyrande & Nathanos fight changed to be reasonable. and again, we've been complaining that Alliance was always portrayed as incompetent losers since war of the thorns.
If the Alliance don't want to fight in a war, then turn off Warmode!
Simple!
