Your Servers Are Crap and Guilds Are Dying Because of It

Well it’s true. If anyone in the game doesn’t experience the same issue it may not actually be Blizzards end. It’s more like an ISP issue or some block between you and blizzard. (Spectrum has been having issues lately, so if you are passing via one of their blocks you might be getting drops)

-note- Not saying that is the issue here, but so long as there is even 1 person that isn’t lagging (and telling the truth about it) It’s indicative of a different issue.

It’s not even that common, either. This is like the second or third time in recent memory that this sort of stuff has happened, but when you have to deal with crap like this it’s VERY hard to not get absolutely livid.

Yeah, people make mistakes during a boss. That’s tilting sometimes but it happens. What shouldn’t happen is crap like this that has quite literally no counterplay. There isn’t a “git gud” aspect to this at all; sometimes these mechanics arbitrarily decide that they wanna be laggy and kill you long after they’ve been dealt with because these servers are being run by apes.

That’s just crap, no way you can get players from OCE, US and EU (and maybe the other country specific servers) all having the same lag issue at the same part of the fights and in the same zones in the overworld and call it a local problem and not a Blizzard server issue.

Clip has been removed :frowning:

I understand this is a issue you are passionate about so it can be hard not to get defensive about it automatically. But please read what I said before calling it crap. I specifically stated that so long as there is someone not having issues. Which directly is the opposite of it being a worldwide issue. It’s completely Blizzard if everyone is experiencing the same issue.

Didn’t the game producer himself said “if you care more about the game issue than the women at Blizzard then you’re part of the problem”?

Nah that’s not how this works. It’s instance lag and based off what we dealt with in Mythic Sire, it can depend on what day you’re raiding, what time you’re raiding, and it seemed also like it was luck on which server you got in the instance.

My group always got lag Tues and Wed night but almost never Sunday. Sometimes it was worse one week then better the next week then worse the next week. It is 100% a Blizzard issue even if 100% of the playerbase isn’t experiencing it.

Orrrr people can care about multiple things at once.

Including a product they pay for monthly having issues and needing fixed. There have been many issues that they always ignore, this is once again just another excuse from the game producer whom is another higher-up that ignored the issues until the legal case came along trying to find yet another excuse as to why they won’t fix issues or listen to suggestions/criticisms that people have.

I thought maldraxxus boss was bad. You don’t live that fihgt with skill. its luck. Luck you see the oh crap attacks between lag spikes.

The maw one…omfg. And he brings down the whole place. All of korthia can know you are there. We feel the lag even jsut helping popo out when its bad.

Your responding to Quote that is being taken out of context sadly and keeps being taken out of context. Person is clearly saying if you are angry and harassing Blizzard employees because they are protesting terrible work environments, and mistreatment of women… You are part of the problem. People have been harassing protesters because them protesting means delayed content. This comment was specifically to those people.

Mythic raiders actually ARE Blizzard’s favorite children. The issue is that Ion is only good at raid encounters, and bad at almost everything else. For instance, he can’t create a satisfying gear progression system for any part of the playerbase. And with his narrow background, he has no idea what anybody really wants.

I feel what we’re seeing here and have been seeing increasingly elsewhere is server load being pushed onto our machines to save server costs.

It’s part of OPs post I just didn’t notice

Not sure how that can be done without opening the door to some highly exploitable things.

BTW purely from a testers side of things… Is it at all possible this is an addon issue. Something widely used like Deadly Boss Mods interacting with a certain boss funny? I know it’s not something a lot of people check because everyone wants to blame Blizzard so badly. (Not saying it’s not Blizzard here)

I can’t stop giggling over this name.

Never once heard this with the instance lag complaint threads. World lag complaint threads? Sure. But instance lag ones? Haven’t seen that. Try to relax. People aren’t out to get you.

Which is a multi-faceted problem. Because they were on A52 - A top 3 populated server in the game.

A solution would be to move to a low pop server, but that also defeats the purpose of an MMO, doesn’t it? You want servers to feel full and alive.

Blizzard doesn’t care as long as the money keeps coming in.

I’d agree if it weren’t for the fact that lower popped servers on all EU, US & OCE are having the exact same problems, regardless of region or pop size.

I see instance lag all the time in old dungeons now. I hit a spell 3 times in 3 gcd’s, tabbing to the next target, then all hit at once. Very common.

Yeah, I’ve heard a bunch of complaints about it. Seems this is the current state of the server hamsters:

That’s unfortunate, but these dudes have been getting smoked by server issues since WotLK days. I remember them trying to deal with defile on H LK 25 and it being an absolute dice roll.

I presume you’re talking about the guild and not OCE Players (Maybe both apply in this case, as an OCE player the issues haven’t been too noticable til BFA) - Either way oof :frowning:
