If I somehow survive walking through the woods naked and make it to Goldshire, I’m going to enjoy myself and steal some clothes on my way out.
Then I’ll likely die because of other health issues and lack of survival skills.

You could spawn me somewhere in the woods in my county and I’d likely have trouble finding my way back to civilization, lol. And I hike a lot of trails around here.
The only way anyone’s surviving in these woods filled with gnolls, murlocs, and tons of hungry animals that take down fully armored soldiers, is if we’re lucky enough to be picked up by a patrol or if we run into some defias bandits we can talk into taking us in.
That’s a good start. Then what?
Just to clarify, you are running into Goldshire naked, and this is how you think it would go?
They have patrols going between Stormwind and Goldshire, They very clearly know there is a lot of dangers around the place and people stealing your stuff being among the things that can happen. I doubt they’d arrest some one claiming to have been mugged of all their items given they know about those kinds of dangers in the area.
Depends on when on the timeline this happens.
If its any time prior to the present, I’d definitely use my knowledge of the lore to affect how things turn out. Even if I can’t do much personally, eventually someone’s gonna listen to me when I’ve accurately described the layout of Ulduar and the state its in years before the Horde and Alliance show up to fight Arthas.
Assuming this is pre-Wrath, here’s just a list of some of the most notable changes that could be made with this knowledge.
Even if its current WoW, I have knowledge of events that only the players, major lore figures, and the most scholarly of Azerothian histories should know - with the ability to communicate about these matters to the peoples living here. At minimum, I’m probably gonna end up being a part of some sort of group, even if it’s just the Explorer’s League.
The one with no safety rails? The one that goes from zero to a hundred miles an hour immediately, and stops just as suddenly? No chance a human survives that tram ride as is.
Oh no…
Oh no!!!
I’m a IRL blacksmith so…
Yeah um… the guards aren’t exactly the problem with that scenario, your biggest danger is gonna be the Draenei in a certain corner…
I murder a low level mob for pants, then head straight to the nearest Warlock Trainer.
I’d go to the nearest dead humanoid and grab their clothes. No one ever takes their clothes. Then I’d make my way to Stormwind and find the mage quarter. There, I’d learn some of that magic stuff. I figure with a lot of hard work and practice I could eventually get a job as Portal Dude. I’d get to ride with the advance team, and all I’d need to do is create the portal to Stormwind. All the fun and none of the danger!
Omg I’d be screwed
I guess I’ll just do what I do IRL to survive, cook and bake people lil treats that they pay me for. Maybe I could use the money I make to fund a foray into adventuring but I’d probably be too lazy lol.
Day 1: Wakes by an idyllic lake.
“Well hello, feller, you’re a cute one.”
“Mrrrrggghllhlhlh.”
Fin.
You can run to Goldshire in like 2mins…beware of the Demon children.
Since I’m a haggard old lady, I’d probably be mistaken for a Banshee and deported to Darkshire… which is fine by me ![]()
I’m screwed ![]()
By becoming undead…
Depends on exactly where I spawn and how far I am from friendlies/baddies. Oh, and if I know where I am. I will try to make my way to someplace safe-ish as quickly as possible. A farm, watchtower, even just the road. With luck, I’ll be found by one of the patrols.
If I can actually make it alive to Goldshire, or even Stormwind, I’ll look for employment of some kind. This is assuming I can’t get a mage to port me back home somehow.
For quest that say 10 livers…I’d smash in animal heads.
For quests asking for feet/paws…I’d not aim for them either.
for quests with humanoids asking for necklaces and such…I will not kill mobs with no jewely dangling off neck.
I would survive by being efficient. and working out I risk dying less not fighting 135 mobs I didn’t have to in the first place.
Azeroth has a world-ending event every 4 years, so I’d probs not last long.
considering my actual intellect i’m off to learn some magic
