“to make up ther difference is currency conversion”
No changes were made to sub fees when the aud > usd for 2 years - we paid 16.50 then.
Why change it now.

Ok it should have went down by 8 cents
I love how we pay more now for a sub par experience;
Constant night time and Alliance still gets their warmode buff even though they massively out pop horde?
What a joke
When is a good time for them to change it ?
to make money, why else?
*you’re
Also the price has only gone up a few times in the 13 or so years I’ve been playing. It’s really not the end of the world to pay $20 a month for something that you like. It’s cheaper than the price ot a movie ticket (or phycial disk) and you get much more value from it.
In all honestly, maybe not during a global pandemic that has factored into economic problems for multiple nations.
I’m having a laugh at the terrible grammar in the thread title.
RBA want it closer to 0.60 and they will get it down there.

she’ll be right mate
If they laid off hundreds of workers, just to hire new workers to replace them a few months later, do you think they care about alienating the Oceanic playerbase?
They know you’ll pay.
The worst part of this is that it stings those that can afford to pay the least the most, players with little “play money,” might have to go without wow some months for budgetary reasons, this only makes fitting a non essential like wow into a tight budget that little bit harder. Unemployment is up, morale is down, and a multi billion dollar multinational has now decided to hike up many peoples escape from troubled times. When coupled with the decision to leave NZ prices where they are one has to question the motives here.
Very simple solution - Unsubscribe (They won’t listen to players crying but they will listen when they lose there revenue from us)
This is just to compensate cause they lost multiboxers now
no we have been paying roughly $16 actually.
No you have been paying average 10 bucks a month for roughly 8 years in usd
He is sober
I’m from New Zealand, our money is worth eveb less than Australia’s lol. But I just took the L for this man. It is what it is shrugs It’s a few more dollars than it used to be, but if it really bothered me then I would just buy subs with a wow token
And yes, they are definitely laughing lol.
your not affected.
always the humans , come to the horde side dwarf , we offer fair prices
Your countries currency has become weaker in relation to others as I understand it.
As such i would recommend you take it up with the people in your government that have undertaken the economic policies that led to this. I have no idea if it was caused by strategic weakness, economic happenstance, or dreadful mismanagement but am confident any amount of information on it is out there.
Please bear in mind that I am not fully conversant with the drivers and forces on the Australian Dollar. This is my understanding of why these types of changes generally get made.
This in no way reduces how much it sucks for those it directly affects and you have my deepest sympathies.
Financial conversion is financial conversion…
Many, many other games do the same. I’m sorry Aus. dollar is not equal to the US dollar, hopefully it will improve.
When I buy something from the UK, their money is worth more than US money at the moment I think, at least it was for a while (when I bought a book and the CD I just purchased was more than what I would pay had it been US,) so I have to pay more for it, as they want X amount of money for the product. Such is life.
Sometimes it bites, but that’s life. Each Country has it’s own economy.
For the game I work on, our 1 month subs are $5.00 USD. I think England pays $4.50 right now. For a while they only paid $2.75 or something like that. They were lucky! lol
It comes and goes, bounces around…
I would give a link to a good currency converter but I can’t do links. Sorry
