There were some good ones out there and I wonder how well they have improved over time. Pearl was one, CT frames I think was another?
What was your favorite UI addons and do you know if they might be available in classic?

The first Addon to present 12 extra buttons and a Quest list HUD. Plus a bunch of other little tweaks.
It still affects my UI today, with the first column of sidebar starting with F1-6 and the second column with F7-12

Before ElvUI there was TukUI and Im pretty sure they are making it for Classic.
Many modern players think ElvUI is amazing.

Agreed, arkinventory is best imo.
My “necessary” addon list is pretty extensive… This is going to include some retail addons and some addons that existed in vanilla… I have no idea how many of these will exist in Classic, consult the above linked “willitclassic” site to check and/or wowinterface
-Elvui (haven’t heard if there’s a classic version coming, there’s enough knockoffs to not be too upset if there isn’t)
-Arkinventory (the best inventory management addon)
-Auctioneer suite (honestly as much about the addons as the main program… main program I might even prefer TSM or Auctionator)
-Recount (my preferred damage meter)
-KTM threatmeter (any working threat meter really is required for vanilla, even above damage meters)
-Outfitter (my preffered gear swap addon)
-Tidyplates (above and beyond my preferred name plate addon)
-BGEnemies (basically better BGTargets)
-DBM package (including the pvp mods/timers which are no longer a thing)
-Atlas (dungeon maps)
-Atlasloot (browsable loot drop tables)
-Raven (buffs/debuffs in bar form)
-weakauras ( I like making a timer/tracker HUD for things like Slice and Dice duration, Stun Duration, and/or less obvious procs like clearcasting and nightfall. Just about every class I can find at least one thing to make a WA for)
-Azeroth Auto Pilot (Gonna give this one a go for leveling this go around)
-Questie (my backup plan in case I don’t like AAP’s pathing)
-Soul Stamp (names your soul shards after the target they where acquired from…Not currently being made for classic, and trying to find an addon dev to take a shot at it)
EDIT: 2 more
-Mobinfo 2 (Gives name, HP, experience per kill, and # of kills to level up)
-Deja Character stats ( fixes the worthless character tab to show you spellpower, spell school power, crit % as a % and such so you don’t have to guess what your stats are)
