Same! Eversong woods has the best music for a starter zone imo.

Goblins themselves are underrated :frowning:
I’m hoping their updated models coming in 8.2.5 will fix that a little. Cant wait for those updated Gobbies and Worgos! lol.

Undead, troll, and draenei for me. The latter probably just nostalgia as it was the first race I played.

Ugh, finally, right? The female goblin faces are so… scuffed right now. I don’t necessarily need my characters to be conventionally attractive or anything but almost every face option looks like they’ve been hitting the Kaja’mite crystals a little hard, if you know what I mean.

Mulgore is pretty awesome. I love the feel of starting out in a small tribe on a nice plains.

I love the blood elf starting zone. Yes, I know, I’m cliche and boring. But, what can I say, I’m an elf player.

Edit: Wait no, my all time favorite is the DK starting zone.

I am on Moon Guard, so it comes down to “Anywhere But Elwynn”.

Lately, I have been visiting Azuremyst Isles for my Alliance toons - it’s uncrowded and actually a pretty nice play-through.

Azuremyst has always been my favorite. I even like Bloodmyst.

It might just be that my first ever character was a draenei.

Quest/Story wise, my vote would go for the Undead starting area and all the way through Tirisfal, Silverpine and into Hillsbrad. I feel it was one of the better revamps in Cata. Sad that Alliance lost Southshore, but the chain that starts as the questgiver (HI HI!!) and follows through with Orkus and his dragon I love.

Layout of quests? Ghostlands. I love grabbing a bunch of quests and the satisfaction of seeing just a ton of “completed” as I am heading back to town :smiley:

Yeah Tirisfal, Silverpine, and Hillsbrad is definitely the best of the Cata revamped zones imo!

Also a little fun fact. If you complete the whole Orkus questchain and get to the ending where he dies, you can actually see his Spirit riding on Kasha if you’re dead. I thought that was a sweet little detail they added in.

Blood Elf and Pandaren starting zones are my favorite. Runner up would be the worgen starting zone.
