I feel like I must be one of the only people to have gone through the entirety of both the 90s and 2000s without having a game console. Aside from a tiny bit of time playing stuff on other kids’ consoles, the only gaming I did as a kid was on computers, starting ~2000 when I received the made-in-1996 Mac my mother had previously used as a hand-me-down.
As such, probably the oldest game I’ve seriously played is Descent. One of these days I need to get an emulator set up and get acquainted with the classics in console games.
