Your Dracthyr and You

I am for sure playing one and most likely going to main one!

I have 5 accounts and I’m going to have a rainbow of dragons! Well, one from each aspect anyway.

Each one will be a different crafter too!

I am excited to play Evoker, and I’ve been hypothesizing different builds. Alas, while I want to play Evoker, I also don’t want to stop playing Druid. Every time I look at the new Druid talents or hear some new commentary on it, I am immediately invested, and then slowly become saddened as I realize that I’m going with Evoker for Dragonflight. I’d like to say I’ll have an alt, but alts are just so much extra work in this game

Maybe, I’ll try out a dracthyr, but if the next exapnsion hs nothing to do with dragons that char will be out of place like the pandas the worgen and the vulpera. my main I have decided will be a elemental shaman

I’m going to play one, aesthetically want to go with a Bronze vibe, golden scales, nice regal horns, mines gonna be opting for some of those fin styles rather than spikes. And blue eyes.

But I am only going to level one to max level, as DPS, not gonna raid or anything crazy with them. It will be another alt.

1.) Yes, I want to try it out to see if I like it.

2.) Either grey or black with green undertones, or green with black/grey undertones

3.) Mine will switch between male and female the same way we change our shirts

4.) Devastation, I can’t heal worth beans and I’m a bad healer.

Huge Maybe.

Maybe if there’s a purple skin with a dragonfly pet that changes depending on the health you or it has, that will be more of a yes-maybe.

Half Dragon essentially.

Yes. Black/red. Don’t RP, but will spend most of time in visage. Devastation.

Preservation looks cool but as with any new class i’m gonna focus primarily on one spec first until i’m sufficiently good at it.

Sounds like me. lol It will definitely take me a long time to come up with the right look for my Dracthyr. Leaning towards dark green, with probably tan accents, and the ancient snout, which I felt looked the most dragonlike to me.

I’ll wait and see how things shake out once Blizz realizes how the Dracthyr will actually be played in the game. This is under the assumption neither Blizz nor the player base will have learned anything from the death knight and demon hunter roll outs.

I’ll make one, but I doubt I’ll play it much because ranged just doesn’t fit what I envision playing a dragon to be like. If they ever add Druid I’ll play a Feral, provided the “cat” form is just a Dracthyr on all fours.

Blue, possibly with some purple thrown in there.

For Evoker I’d RP as a full dragon and use Visage form whenever possible. If they add Druid in the future then I’ll never use Visage form at all, only Dracthyr form.

Neither, they should have given us a melee DPS spec in addition to the ranged and healers specs.

I am excited to play 1, I wish they had 1 more bulkier/beefier body option and wish they could be more than just the Evoker, but curious enough to try the Evoker out.

Remains to be seen if I buy DF or not.

Will be representing the Bronze Dragonflight!

She will not be an experiment, she’ll be a straightup dragon.

Preservation! It looks so goooooood.

I…

Well hell… You’re right it should have been!

  1. Yes,
  2. A black dragon, a bronze, or a green.
  3. Usually a drakthyr for the black dragons, but maybe a dragon for the bronze.
  4. And I love them both!! They’re colorful, bright, and they look impactful! That’s all I care about :3

Once they and their story was announced I had some lovely ideas - I know they’re technically chromatic dragons, but I think it’d be neat to roleplay a dracthyr of the black flight, who awakens to find that…well, the entire flight is dead, lost to madness. I love working through cycles of discovery and building up my character as they learn of the tragedies of the world - kinda helps me work through my own stuff but that’s neither here nor there. :joy: I’ve currently got a vulpera on a quest for the origins of her culture. :3

I think they look a bit silly, but I will probably play the healing spec.

Ah, that’s one of my favorite ways to work out characters.

They’ll get on that right after they add the ranged specs to DK, Monk, and DH
