You'll hotfix WSG but you won't even comment on this

This pretty much sums up the forums right here. They fix an exploit that was actually breaking the game and people call it a “minor issue” because it didn’t impact them personally.

It’s times like these I am thankful the players don’t get to vote on how the game is developed.

You only seem to care about health of gameplay for Horde though.

Everybody who isn’t an idiot understands Horde are severely disadvantaged when Alliance can premade an AV and Horde have to solo queue/can’t coordinate a premade to the extent Alliance can regularly.

That’s not a legitimate point of contention.

What’s problematic is that there are so many more Horde that want to PVP than Alliance that Horde have a 30 min queue (which is horrendous).

Asking that many players to re-roll doesn’t seem feasible to me. Allowing one way faction transfers to Alliance is a legitimate option and would help allow the player base to balance out the population.

Allowing sane faction bgs (Horde vs Horde) only addresses Horde issues while ignoring Alliance ones.

The Alliance as a player base has fewer players. Our pool of people is smaller in general and that matters when it comes to PVP and PVE progression. Alliance premades not just because we can, but because our pool of talent is smaller than Horde.

Nobody wants to play with idiots or people who show up unprepared and want a free ride. This is coming from a former long time Horde player who rerolled Alliance knowing what both factions are like.

If you want to balance to the queue times and ability to group more evenly, I want a larger and more and potentially more competent general PUG player base to queue with. That’s not unreasonable, but a vast majority of player posting here are unreasonable to one another.

Alliance telling Horde to drop everything and reroll from nothing is stupid and destructive.

Horde telling Alliance they NEED changes and then proposing alterations to the game that only really address Horde issues while leaving Alliance out in the cold.

I actually wouldn’t be opposed to mixed faction BG games where it’s gladiatorial style (both factions on each team of players). Problem is it totally spits in the face of Lore and the feel of Classic in general. Also doesn’t address realm population issues.

I’d start with allowing Horde to Alliance transfers on certain servers (free) and then explore other potential changes from there.

Not doing anything is a bad idea though.

Earthfury is 60% alliance. We horde had multiple raid loggers/people who quit over phase 2. We had constant complaints about an inability to farm and get anywhere. Granted I LOVE world PVP and really enjoyed myself but especially during world PVP the alliance were looking for the horde scraps and would usually camp etc and find horde with their 20 man death squads. Even the alliance didn’t like outnumbering the horde. There are more realms more than Heartseeker (which is for sure the worst).

You’re so dense. You’re basically saying that because you don’t have a factional stance on these agendas that others that do can’t have them because of their faction.

Again, you’re only interested in being some sort of ‘soap box speaker’ where your opinion is valued over others because of your hollow stance while claiming it’s all for the ‘greater good’.

Holier than thou.

You’re quick to insult by suggesting people don’t understand when it is you yourself who are blinded by your own ‘moral high ground’.

A wild juggaa appears!
How was night shift?

The Alliance as a whole is even, if not more. Just not enough want to do BGs.

queuing as a 5 man party was part of Vanilla, stripped for this version of AV, then brought back after this version. It’s not a bad thing to want to queue as a 5 man

I sincerely feel for the horde on ally dominated server (s) with your atrocious queue times. Some of you rolled horde for the racials, some for the stigma, some for the numbers and some to be with friends. The latter are the ones I truly feel for. I wanted to be an orc wit that juicy stun resist but I wanted zero queues so here we are.

The Alliance player base has fewer players that want to PVP.

That matters when we’re talking about talent pools of people engaging in…PVP.

It’s not that I think Hordes PvP experience should be terrible. Allowing Horde to 5 man queue wouldn’t make a difference to me personally (provided Alliance could too).

It wouldn’t help the queue times for Horde significantly or at all, nor would it solve problems the Alliance player base has in PVP.

The devs need to stop sitting in the back of the bus and navigate their way into the driver’s seat. I get they’re afraid to screw up a 15 year old game…but if they can’t think critically and problem solve effectively maybe the truth is they just aren’t good developers.

If their entire classic existence is dominated by 2 and soon to be 3 maps then they should have no problem rerolling for faster queue times.

Yes, we all know this as Alliance overall have more players.

It wouldn’t help queue times, no. Both factions should be able to 5 man party queue as we could the majority of wow.

I mean if I could patch it in tomorrow Jugga you’d have it.

Not sure why anyone is against party queuing to begin with.

Are you new here?

While I agree with your sentiment… I do believe the following correction is slightly more true…

In vanilla… Alliance queues were 10 to 15 minutes before x realm. the horde were over an hour.

Once again my wanting an even playing field has nothing to do with rivalry. How are you still not getting this?

How is wanting an even playing field (which ONCE AGAIN I will point out I lobbied for in P2) such a foreign concept to you? How is that remotely “soapbox” opinion? How in the everliving **** is that “moral high ground”?

Oh and:

is pretty cringeworthy.

P2 had a hand in it too because it amplified the server pop issue. Alliance left the game/left PVP servers/don’t want to PVP because of P2. It’s not the only reason but it did exacerbate the issue.

This goes for both factions. But, leaving the servers don’t make a difference. P2 was hell for anyone solo or leveling.

What has me most curious about this entire thread, is how did that one mankrik guy weasel his way into the Herod premade? Haha
