You only seem to care about health of gameplay for Horde though.
Everybody who isn’t an idiot understands Horde are severely disadvantaged when Alliance can premade an AV and Horde have to solo queue/can’t coordinate a premade to the extent Alliance can regularly.
That’s not a legitimate point of contention.
What’s problematic is that there are so many more Horde that want to PVP than Alliance that Horde have a 30 min queue (which is horrendous).
Asking that many players to re-roll doesn’t seem feasible to me. Allowing one way faction transfers to Alliance is a legitimate option and would help allow the player base to balance out the population.
Allowing sane faction bgs (Horde vs Horde) only addresses Horde issues while ignoring Alliance ones.
The Alliance as a player base has fewer players. Our pool of people is smaller in general and that matters when it comes to PVP and PVE progression. Alliance premades not just because we can, but because our pool of talent is smaller than Horde.
Nobody wants to play with idiots or people who show up unprepared and want a free ride. This is coming from a former long time Horde player who rerolled Alliance knowing what both factions are like.
If you want to balance to the queue times and ability to group more evenly, I want a larger and more and potentially more competent general PUG player base to queue with. That’s not unreasonable, but a vast majority of player posting here are unreasonable to one another.
Alliance telling Horde to drop everything and reroll from nothing is stupid and destructive.
Horde telling Alliance they NEED changes and then proposing alterations to the game that only really address Horde issues while leaving Alliance out in the cold.
I actually wouldn’t be opposed to mixed faction BG games where it’s gladiatorial style (both factions on each team of players). Problem is it totally spits in the face of Lore and the feel of Classic in general. Also doesn’t address realm population issues.
I’d start with allowing Horde to Alliance transfers on certain servers (free) and then explore other potential changes from there.
Not doing anything is a bad idea though.
