You'll hotfix WSG but you won't even comment on this

Mmm, nope, not even longer queue times could convince me to play an Alliance character.

Way too boring and dull, and no shamans? Psh.

Itā€™s never their perspective we are concerned with, itā€™s ours, hence the issues with the ability to make premades.

Say we all push for this. Then Alliance can still queue, just even easier now so instead of 40 queuing, just 8 need to hit the queue button. You think that will stem people like OP from claiming Alliance is cheating?

While they can try to do it the same way, the results vary because they have more queuing at that same time than Alliance does. So itā€™s less likely they get the same queue.

X-realms do nothing but help overpopulated servers so removing it would be great. Horde would have lots of fun then!

At least then there would be at least one incentive for players to naturally alleviate population imbalances ā€¦ with xrealm queues there are zero incentives.

I have repeatedly expressed my POV that it is the inability to group with friends and guildies, the true issue with the system.

They could have easily left the free transfers up, NOT had CRBGs, and things would have sorted out in short order. Hell, they could still do this, if they actually cared to fix things. But now they are getting $ from transfers, so I doubt they will give that up.

But here we are. :man_shrugging:

Yea but you have to keep in mind ā€œAā€ change that more adheres to your focus of change will affect others.

Iā€™m all good for 5 man group queues. But this will STILL leave the issue of players complaining about Alliance making pre-mades via the instant queues due to factional interest in PvP.

Well good thing I am not a hard line #nochanger?

There will always be some players complaining about each and every subject available. Let not the perfect get in the way of what can actually be accomplished (I butchered that). Keep in mind that those 40 man ā€œpremadesā€ alliance are running, are really just hurting their faction mates on their servers, inflating honor totals. They are not competing for honor against horde, but their own side. Horde wins plenty enough as it is.

Party queue would be a Good Thing. The ability to group queue was in vanilla, via whole raid queue (which was before CRBGs). A decent compromise would simply be the party queue.

Refusing to do something that improves the game because people might not completely stop complaining is a really dumb reason.

Canā€™t tell if this is a troll or not. So you knew that imbalances would be this bad? Based off of what? Itā€™s never been this bad on private servers or in original WoW. But yeah Iā€™m glad you knew that the historical horde que of 5-10 minutes would become 30+.

All of the problems listed were foreseen way ahead of time and if you still chose to main horde, thatā€™s on you. You have the advantage in world pvp with higher population, now alliance have the advantage in BGs due to lower queue times. Not rocket science. If you want to ā€œfixā€ these ā€œissuesā€ then roll alliance. There is only one magical fix for population imbalance. And no, itā€™s not garbage merc mode or faction transfer, keep that crap in retail.

Far from it. I advocate Classic+.

Iā€™m good with group queues. Iā€™m just not good with people pushing Blizzard implemented penalties on players, specifically Alliance in terms of premades, because of players choices of factions.

But letā€™s not kid ourselves here. Itā€™s not for concern of Alliance gains/losses. Itā€™s because Horde canā€™t do it. If your faction was on fire, Iā€™d not say much about it. Nothing to do with me.

How does your campaign against preventing Alliance premades improve the game?

All I am saying is once you get one thing you want that benefits Horde, you want to get one thing you can take that benefits Alliance.

and then you just made honor slower

And most of them are you.

I know this is hard for you to accept, but my concerns are with the health of the gameplay, not based on what color shirt I am wearing.

They got half the bonus they could have gotten in the same 12 minutes lmao

Itā€™s a great cross to bear, but in a game that is literally about rivalry, it is a legitimate stance.

I know that is also hard for you to accept, but it is just as valid as your perspective.

The honor system pits you against your own faction. Keep pretending that it is about ā€œrivalryā€ with the opposite faction. It is even less so about rivalry with the entire NA region being lumped into the same blender.

Hook. Line. Sinker.

So ALL posts about what the other guy gets should automatically be ignored.

o7 Thanks.

Phase 2 showed imbalances would be terrible.

Alliance (mostlyā€“sorry Heartseeker) were told repeatedly, ā€œYou should have knownā€. I was told this multiple times and agree that itā€™s insanely annoying, especially along with ā€œrerollā€ and ā€œjust travel in 40 man groups everywhereā€ suggestions.

Not only was the imbalance WORSE than anyone expected, it was exacerbated by at least 3x due to massive population sizes (a huge ā€œchangeā€ from vanilla). So we had people effectively barred from playing in the open world during phase 2ā€“which was 98% of the total game, and getting to the other 2% was unbearable. Knowing it would be bad wasnā€™t black and whiteā€“it was worse than anyone expected. The dominant faction had control on every open world farm spot and became even more established (leaving us with most level 60ā€™s on alliance still riding their welfare mounts).

So thereā€™s now a queue problem which affects a new 2% of the game added for (most of) those who ran the show uncontested and called anyone complaining crybabies. I wouldnā€™t expect any pity from those of us who suffered in P2.

The real people who got screwed are the horde on servers like Heartseeker, but Iā€™ve been against CRBG since day 1 specifically for this. The dominant faction on each server needs to be held accountable for their own imbalance somehow, and queues were the last hope.
