The mechagnomes are just the gnomes with mechanical attachments. Vulpera - while using the goblin skeleton - are brand new.
we won warld of worcraft
Leaderboards, participation rate, story quality, faction pride, lore, the Horde is just better in general.
Sure, the Alliance has its moments, but they pale in comparison to the Horde.
yeah, I figured if you canât beat em, join em
I suspect that, after the newness wears off, things will balance out again. People will get back on their mains and we will see less rats running around.
1: Not if their mains change after getting a taste of the superior faction
2: *fewer
Itâs because the devs main horde. They are having fun so they donât understand what all the fuss is about. The guy in charge LITERALLY has to listen to someone else to explain what half of his customerbase is experiencing.
Then why did they break the game in the first place? This is a result of their actions.
The difference?
When the horde needed help, Blizzard did things designed to entice Alliance players to reroll horde.
This time, when the Alliance needs help, Blizzard is trying to apply bandaids to strengthen the Alliance. There is no enticement factor, so the results of their actions is failure.
They really need to hire some people who actually care about the Alliance; devs who proudly main Alliance. But thatâs not going to happen, because the horde is Blizzardâs version of âthe Good Olâ Boyâs Clubâ.
They get that because nobody uses it.
What makes sense with the expansion story is whatever Blizzard wants to make sense; they are responsible for the story direction. Since no dev mains Alliance, they donât have a clue what Alliance players want and it shows.
I mean, we straight-up saved Vorrik. And we didnât butterfinger all the keys to Mythrax.
Also trolls tend to eat their loa and two of the most recent cases were Zandalari, so Sethraliss would probably be pretty leery of joining you guys outright.
Also we just convinced the mechagnomes to crown an unconscious vegetable they never met before and start murdering half the people who just saved their crappy island, so I have to assume all bets are off or something.
Participation rate is a player problem not a blizzard problem. You have the tools to be just as good, itâs not blizzards fault if you donât use them.
Story quality is subjective. I donât believe losing 3 warchiefs in 3 consecutive expansions is good story. And neither is writing two of them with the same BS âevilâ story arc. The horde story of mostly recycled ideas every expansion. Not saying the alliance one is good, but the horde one certainly isnât the standard of âbetterâ.
Alliance have a faction pride problem cause they convince themselves they are being unendingly victimized.
Lore is basically the same as story. Though Id say the two best lore stories on either side is night elf for alliance and undead for horde. Undead lore is getting destroyed right now by blizzardâs determination to make everyone hate Sylvannas.
Which one of their actions broke the game and how did they help the horde when they needed it? Everyone says this and points to different events for itâs hard to keep up.
How? Itâs not my fault Alliance players endlessly complain about racials. I never said they mattered, I said the Alliance ones were slightly stronger.
Which they are.
Pretending I said something false is, in fact, misleading.
Yeah, Ion, Lord God HordeMaster Himself, disagrees with you:
The other issue the World of Warcraft team has been investigating is participation by faction in high-end large-group raids, he said. Some of that imbalance was caused by the racial abilities of the character races on Hordeside versus Alliance.
âWeâve been looking at high-end participation in raids and other activities where, over time, a lot of the high-end communities gravitated Horde,â he said, "partly because past racial imbalances that we have largely remedied.
âLargelyâ not completely remedied.
Never gonna happen. The Alliance is dead because Blizzard keeps poking it with a stick and legitimately wondering why itâs not better.
Still a problem and still makes Horde superior.
Yes but if a slaughter must happen thenIâd much rather be on the giving end of the butchery instead of the receiving end.
NPCs getting swapped out isnât ideal, but it doesnât sting like a failed battle does IMO. Iâd rather play musical warchiefs than play âwhich city will die this time?â
Enjoy vulpera peeps!
Iâll say it again; those are bandaids designed to bribe the Alliance instead of providing any kind of incentive for horde players to reroll Alliance.
Thatâs the difference; when the GOAL is to have players reroll to the other faction, you get serious. When itâs not the goal, bandaids are thrown around like candy and are just as effective.
I pointed to what Ion said.
Thereâs actually a very good video about this:
Can you link your source for that? I want to check something. Thanks.
