You Think you Druid, but you don't

Bite my shiny metal butt. Adult enough for you? You just can’t get over the fact that the game doesn’t have to accommodate every theoretically possible playstyle. The only druids that are impacted by this change are druids that have to do all their farming in one day, and also have a playstyle that requires 12+ mcp a week. That is an uncommonly rare circumstance and if it truly includes you, that’s unfortunate. As people have pointed out from your logs, it seems you don’t always need more than a handful of mcp, which is easily farmed in a single play session, with time and lockouts for other content still available. So this doesn’t even always impact you.

Nobody is policing your play style or lifestyle.

Why would I need to do any of this?

Just her trying to police how you enjoy the game.

I think people in this thread are whining just to cry about something.

You can farm 210 gnomers a week.

On the safe side cuz of raids you can do 200 a week. That’s atleast 50 MCPs a week, if that’s not enough idk what to say. Reroll an actually non gimmick dps class.

If you’re in the rare circumstances that you can only play once a week as a farming then druid isn’t for you.

and? im not saying that the polearms are gods or anything. Im saying that open up the options for the druid cause farming Gnomer has got to be the dumbest thing for a max level to do unless they are helping out their friends or farming BoE to sale for gold. Not go into Gnomer to get your bis… stoooppidddddddd

imagine if thats how every weapon in the game worked… You can only use it 3 times and then its useless and you gotta go do another raid or dungeon to get that same weapon again…

Because Classic players want to talk to people who main in classic. It gets annoying when retail players insert themselves into classic discussions because they clearly have no idea what they are talking about. I am led to believe you are a troll because if you don’t know how a level 60 can kill the MCP boss in gnomer 3 time in 15 mins you really are clueless about classic. Which means why are you even in these forums?

I bet you aren’t trying to min/max either though.

What I’m saying is if Druid could equip any type of weapon MCP would still beat them.
It’s not the lack of weapon options that’s making MCP best.
You would have to redesign Druids melle damage to be affected by weapon damage to change that.
And if we rework Druids why are we not giving pallies taunts while we are at it.
It is what it is, warts and all.

I mean we could put say 500 str on a mace so it’s competitive with MCP, that won’t be an issue at for a warrior or ret who can also equip it will it?

Personally for me it’s things like wardens staff or MCP or edgemasters being what they are that makes classic something that I enjoy.

You would be correct.

See what? All I care about is knowing how much time has passed since you’ve started farming, don’t care if you were beating your third arm or playing minecraft in your down time. If you spend more than 6 hours in a weekday you need to spend the time you are locked out to find a job

Yeah, with a 30 instance limit… they really don’t need the 5 instance per hour cap anymore.

why not just have the mace have no charges? and you still get yo keep your lil mace you want and then dont have to farm Gnomer.

I mean the druid problem can be easily fixed with changes. The fact that MCP is druids best weapon despite coming from a level 30-35 dungeon is a very big flaw in game design.

But apparently these kind of changes aren’t welcomed and it’s fun to farm a gnomeragan hundreds of times a week. Yeah, right. Who’s selling that BS? There is nothing fun about farming MCP.

That’s what they should have done, but they don’t care about the players they screw over with their senseless changes.

It seems clear that most of the people responding to the concerns in this thread only do so to antagonize and belittle others.

You can farm 210 gnomers a week.

Then make the cap 210 instances a week. What’s so difficult about this?

On the safe side cuz of raids you can do 200 a week.

So why not make it 210 instances a week instead of 30 a day?

That’s atleast 50 MCPs a week

It would be, if the cap were 210 per week instead of 30 per day.

Reroll an actually non gimmick dps class.

Says the mage!

How is my circumstance rare? Who are you to tell me what is or isn’t for me?

Overall, it sounds like Blizzard freed these folks who think they’ve been dis-serviced from min/max hell. They should be saying thanks.

See what? All I care about is knowing how much time has passed since you’ve started farming, don’t care if you were beating your third arm or playing minecraft in your down time.

…why would you care about this? It’s my time, not yours.

If you spend more than 6 hours in a weekday you need to spend the time you are locked out to find a job

Several problems with this.

  1. I told you to see above. You clearly missed the posts by myself and others who play on the weekend.

  2. Evaluating someone based on how much they work is entirely asinine. My employer started paying us to work less due to the pandemic.

  3. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone to tell someone else to get a job, or to quit the current job they have because they don’t like how much time they spend working or not working. What motivates you to say this?

why not just have the mace have no charges? and you still get yo keep your lil mace you want and then dont have to farm Gnomer.

This would be a huge quality of life change and I obviously would be in favor of it! Though I would miss farming Gnomer. It’s like meditation, hehe =)
