I’m just used to prot war and to a slightly lesser extent, prot pal levels of threat generation.
It makes it a breeze, even during skittish weeks (especially so on the warrior.)

We do what you won’t
Enjoy your 40 minute queue.
Well spoke, enemy mine!
Have some ale!

I have always mained prot warrior and had a prot pally alt though. ![]()
Same could be said for you. If you aren’t tanking on a warrior you’re doing it wrong.
This has nothing to do with the post, but I’m loving the new mog on Goregroth. I wish we could run around and destroy Alliance together. We would look AWESOME.
/kick.
Everyone wonders why I don’t tank: there’s why!
Inexcusable!
on my new balance druid I occasionally tab target a wrong mob.
help from the tank is always appreciated.
just a quick peek down this comment section I can see why DPS ques are so long.
nobody wants to tank pugs that act like this.
Glad I don’t tank pugs anymore. I see it is still as awful as ever. Do my job? There is a person behind this avatar that deserves to have as much fun as macro pushing dps. Seriously folks act as if tanks are bots for their own personal use . ROFL
Pace should be set by the healers mana should it though? As long as the healer is keeping people topped off the mobs should just keep coming.
if youre the kinda tank that frequently pauses the dungeon by standing in place to type out in party chat “yOu sPaNk It, YoU tAnK it”, then yeah, nobody wants to play with you either.
it’s one thing if people are causing wipes, it’s another if youre just pissy because the the other group members are a step ahead of you
If DPS are pulling, it likely means you’re being too safe or too slow with your pulls, provided they’re not blind and pulling when the healer needs mana. Is it rude? Absolutely. Is it the end of the world? No. It tells you to adjust.
If people pull, ESPECIALLY if they pull it toward you, and you deliberately wait until they die to do anything about it, you’re exactly the kind of person who shouldn’t be tanking and are probably only doing it because you have some sort of God Complex. The only thing adopting the “you pull you tank” mindset does is slow down runs and cause further conflict. Given it’s not a tank tanking, it’s also pretty expected that aggro at some point gets split to the other party members.
How about this? If I pull and I tank it, you get kicked out of the group cause you are a sorry tank.
I’ll just leave this right here and see myself out…
Yeah , ill just pop my bubble. Drop all agro and let it kill the healer than. K ? Thanks in advance !
Honestly, I tank with a Brewmaster. I have no problem with face pulls. It keeps me on my toes.
Haha. In wotlk i would run pugs with my healer friend and i would tank.
We had a rule that i would pull as much as he could take. We knew what each other could handle. If a dps would pull intentionally he would keep the aggro and the healer wouldn’t heal him.
If he could stay alive then he would get full heal and we would keep going. If they didn’t stay alive then he would either learn or leave.
The game is too different now with everyone having self heals. Its a who cares
