Classes shouldnt be balanced around numbers on a third party website.

lol seems I’m rent free. But I absolutely believe everything I say. The problem with #somechanges is it becomes the slippery slope it has already became, all the while undermining the classic experience, or the most faithful classic experience players can get from blizzard. This is exactly why the community pushed so hard for #nochanges in 2019 because they knew the slippery slope it would become and look with #somechanges it has. Hell look at how retail has turned out and how swingy recent balance changes has been.
The best part of all this is how righteous you think you are being it’s actually pathetic.

This is why I never touch warrior and paladin in era or fresh servers. God awful classes to level. I don’t care if these classes are OP at end game for me it’s about the enjoying the leveling process which absolutely sucks for these two classes. OP is right. SOD exists and both these classes are amazing over there but entitled adhd classic players can’t help but jump from one new thing to another.

Also, they sort of needed to go too far with some things to know what works and what doesn’t. I think it will make an eventual classic plus better in the long run.
This is unhinged. If people can’t see that asking for minor balance tweaks (say tuning ability numbers or scaling) are very different to fundamentally changing the whole gameplay via 100ish new abilities, then I don’t know what to say.
I love classic and am fine with no balance changes, but saying ‘SoD did this’ to someone seeking minor balance changes is ludicrous. SoD is fine and some like it, but it is not a minor balancing patch. Rather it is a complete overhaul.

No, the reality is the game experience of underpowered specs is objectively worse, no matter what fantasy you have in your head about how things hypothetically could be in a different reality than we live in.
