You need flying to enjoy zones

How about the scrambling to announce pathfinder weeks after they said they were taking flying away forever? Or how FF14 announced flying the day after that interview and trumpeted that they had got millions of new accounts within a month.

If you turn wm off there is no risk to the player. Every mob dies in 3 gcds. What danger are you on about? It does not exist

Yeah, I hear “you need to experience the ground to appreciate the maps.” But I got flying a few months ago, and I think the real appreciation comes from seeing all of the detail at once. Being in the middle of Zandalar, seeing that blood moon on one side, a giant snake statue on the other, and a giant pyramid in front of me is the best visual I’ve seen all expansion.

They should probably shorten the time.

I prefer the game without flying. The zones feeling bigger is more fun. You see a lot more interesting things on ground level because that’s how the zones are designed.

The danger of wasting time. For the gogogo ADHD generation, that’s pretty tragic. And honestly, in a post max level world where the mobs have literally nothing of value for you, it feels pretty bad to be fighting something that is literally a worthless waste of time. The core loop is not strong enough any more for that to be ‘fun’ on its own.

I agree. I have been begging Blizzard to make ground travel more interesting for years now. I do not understand why they cant add mount abilities so when we are progressing to path finder we can get leaps, burst speed, gliding, and maybe even blinks. That would go very far to make it actually more interesting.
