You didn’t read a thing I said did you The scientist back in the sixties and seventies said the world was going to be overpopulated by 1990 and the world would run out of oil by then
Oh no I read it, believe me, I read it and understood it well. Yikes. Good luck out there.
I had a Dodge Omni (same thing as a Horizon) and I loved that car. One thing I remember most about it was the engine ran so cool, it was almost impossible to get any heat out of it in the winter time. I’d be half way to work before the front window defrosted.
45RPM singles.
…when the music of your youth becomes bumper music on talk radio.
And stare at the TV or tape to try to guess which star would become the Enterprise. LOL.
You have to tell someone that that crank on the side of the car door raises and lowers the window.
You remember when they delivered milk to the house in glass bottles.
Have I gone too far with that one?
I kinda missed the boat on rap. Kids I knew in high school listened to it but I never really “got” it. At that point in time I was more into pop, pop-punk, nu-metal, and classic rock.
When you mind slip into the past and the world isn’t as it use to be.
That’s pretty cool I imagine it would be pretty hard to swap things around.
“When you go to a Convention, run into a friend who was a child when you met her, and she introduces you to her GRANDCHILDREN. When you get a call from your Son, telling you, that you are now a Great Grandmother.”
“I remember when T.V. was mainly Black and White, Real Five and Dime Stores, Left Handed People were considered evil, and when Roller Skates were made of metal with no toe stops, and needed hard shoes to work. I also remember the first Lunar Orbit, and when Elvis was still just an unknown Country Singer. I also remember when The Grateful Dead was just a Garage Band.”
“And I remember life before Pong.”
/grin
… you look like a male nightborne in real life
You know you are old when:
You remember some quest or pre-Cata zone and get frustrated when it’s not as you remember it in game.
“Wasn’t there some quest dude on the dam in Loch Modan?”
head there
“Wait where did the dam go again? Why are there twilight people in the gnoll camp?”
I felt old when I went to a liquor store recently and realized that 21 year olds today were born in the year 2000.
Keep it as a memory.
Actually, a few early episodes of the first season are good and then it gets really bad.
What does that have to do with WoW?

Ok, so… not knowing people or pop culture references has nothing to do with age. I have no idea who this dude is. Probably a Foo Fighters guy? I only know Dave Grohl, and didn’t really know his name until maybe Nirvana’s third album…? I know a lot of singers, actors, some TV personalities, and athletes, but just because someone has never heard of Joe Montana, Tom Selleck, or Phil Collins, really doesn’t have as much to do with their age, but more to do with the stuff they are interested in. I was listening to 50s and 60s music while growing up in the 70s and 80s. We watched old movies, saw reruns on TV. See, now you’ve made me go on a rant. See what you made me do? lol
Seeing an invitation for the 50th high school reunion that triggers some very clear memories of high school and then throwing the invitation away.
