DD = Direct Damage = not a DoT. Reading comprehension much?
You have no AoE DIRECT DAMAGE spender, so yes, your DoT damage rises during AoE. It does for Aff, too. And in fact, for most classes that have DoTs. Hell, Trail of Ruin is only ~8.5% of Havoc’s DPS on single target, and it can easily hit 30%+ on AoE.
Afflocks are complaining about having too much burst, and also about not having enough burst. How do you not see the dissonance there?
If you’re not trust level 3 yet, you can still include links by enclosing them in backticks. It’s the key to the left of 1 and above Tab. Like this:
And it’s not my job to find evidence to support your claim. If you can’t find evidence for it, your claim is irrelevant. And definitely not “notorious” for that, not even slightly. Quite the opposite, in fact. They don’t update the sims on their main page very often (though they are getting better), but they aren’t exactly doing nothing. There are daily updates to SimC, and a nightly build channel if you’re curious.
That’s because it’s terrible at 1 stack and sub-optimal at 2. It’s literally the most powerful trait you can get at 3 stacks, but only at 3 stacks. So ya, anyone that doesn’t have 3 stacks is going to have (or attempt to have) 0. That doesn’t make it a bad trait. It’s a very good trait. It’s just a highly conditional trait as well.
Clearly you have no clue period, since you seem to think browsing a few logs out of the top 100 makes you an unquestionable authority on the spec.
