You Hated Holinka for 5 Years

Why do you all think he's suddenly the second coming of Jesus?
Idk about Jesus but I had fun in MoP and Holinkas a good bloke
Holinka was a scapegoat and no one could see how bad the game would become the following expansion
At least someone is working on PvP aside from that intern that barely has time for it anyways in between his coffee runs and trolling facebook
OP post screams exaggeration from "hate" to "Jesus", popped the breaks there hombre!
prolly cause the grass wasnt greener
holinka doesnt do class design so pvp being bad isnt even his fault
We may have not liked what he did all the time, but at least he did something.
Lazarus on an alt, nothing to see here.
The game is so bad atm I'd take the unpaid intern who worked on the game prior to WoD at this point.
Holinka was pretty nasty.

This, I was one of the haters but it's pretty easy to see that he was being used as a flack jacked for Gregg Street and Co. What's happening now may be a similar situation, the company brings him back in and if they don't allow any budget for changes that need to be made everyone shifts critical focus from the Company/Ion to Holinka.

I'm happy to see him back, but that isn't going to change my opinion on who is responsible for the state of the expac at the moment, those being the people that released live, not those showing up after to help put out the fire.
idk if yall remember but holinka was blamed entirely for trashran, not that it sucked to participate in but the fact that it dropped bis pvp gear and it was rng. like the rng hate, at least for me, started there. we now know that it was most likely out of his hands and he was probably as pissed as us about it.
I'm just hoping anyone can help my dead spec.

There isn't a single failed PvP system that has been implemented in this game that is as bad as current wow, deal with it. Literally everything compares favorably to it.

Even if azzram was on him, the PvP gearing/catch up in WoD was the best system we ever had.

Pretty sure he also gave us honor talents. We would have been playing on Celestalon tablets in Legion if it wasn't for those.

Take the good with the bad but if those were things he was able to do in a more limited role, with resistance, then I'm hopeful he can accomplish more this time around. Time will tell.

Yeah i liked wod a lot, little rough for alts but tbh i even liked that because it made fotm rerolls a little harder. I never figured vendors would go away. just didnt think that could happen lol.

This is a thread wherein the premise is that we shouldn't be excited for Holinka because of past failed systems under his design.

You reinforced the premise of the thread.

Your position was challenged under the counter-premise that while Holinka did oversee failure, it was leagues lower magnitude re: bfa failure.

fkin rtards i swear.

I wasn't a big fan of WoD but it was more so because there was nothing fun to do in the game in general. Even so, imo some specs were just so much more fun to play (ret, spriest, affliction).

Even if this is the start of the unprune, I don't think we'll get back to MoP or prior like classes but even if we can creep back to a WoD amount I think that would be a win.
