amazing what the power of editing and marketing can do to skew peoples world view. Ive watched all the videos, and let me tell you. These are very cherry picked instances of absolutely terrible players or programmed bots getting bodied. Shamans are the only class in the game right now that dont have a direct counter to hunter pets and even then, youre tanky enough to send a frost shock to close the gap. If you play any other class and cant figure out how to beat a hunter, go play farmville or something more akin to your IQ.

Ive lived it, when they can use beast within and i cant catch the pet with 30% movement speed while they kite me with winged seperents breath attacks. My only counter is chasing with sunfire and im still lose 3/4 my health to a pet alone. Before u say earthroot and hibernate. Remember those break and it cost a lot of mana to shapeshift, root, and hibernate just for it to get broke and them run away again. While i was fighting a hunter their pet was able to crit me for 450 damage. Is there another class that can crit that hard minus execute?
Most of the Hunter nerfs were justified, the end result we have now was just lazy and short sighted. Dev’s knew the shot buffs they added are only plausible if you take Marks Rune on chest. If your the only Hunter, your obligated to take Lions for the group buff. Raids are not going to want more than one Hunter now, so the buffs were just a smoke screen to the last nerf. I am not saying Hunters were not overturned for this phase, just that the solution was lazy and horrible.
Shut up, seriously your class is fine same with priest. After nerf still soloed heal bfd not a problem and our hunters were still tops dps 150+. Your class is fine

100% agree. Only way the nerfs make since is if they intend on removing the deadzone… otherwise they will get slapped in the 40 bracket.

no its not. you are just too lazy to do any research and just want to pretend to dunk on someone. There are many many companies that give you value for what your dollar is worth.
It’s still about a 10-15% DPS loss to drop beastmaster post nerf unless you are in almost BIS gear.
Sure, and when they lie about a product before hand, people are going to be upset and react.
Every class except priest can crit harder than that, mages can crit for 1400 and locks can crit for 800 (and btw, 450 is higher than the maximum crit value for wind serpents even pre-nerf)
You seriously don’t think hunter has been done justice?
That’s an honest question. My hunter is always the top in every fight (I only pug on my hunter so there is definitely a quality of player issue here) except turtle boss, and I have an absolutely amazing time in pvp.
Seriously. It’s a great class. No one likes being nerfed…but you seriously…really think that hunter’s haven’t been done justice in SoD?
Because I enjoy the class and I feel incredibly powerful on my hunter.

hunters just want it all, the entire game revolves around BFD parsing for them right now because…its the only thing they don’t have at S tier (keep in mind they are still 3rd) and they want it. The volume of their crying is just insanely high right now because there’s just so many of them for obvious reasons

Cry me a river. Hunters are not only easy as hell to play in all versions of the game, but for some reason, bigger babies than Shadow Priests. And those guys are actually terrible. They don’t have an NPC to do the bulk of their DPS and tank.

Giving you “value for what a dollar is worth” has nothing to do with that at all. Shareholders control and drive the decisions that companies make, period. You’ll understand some day.

Its easy to do damage on a hunter. It isnt easy to do competitive damage on a hunter.
Go melee weave without clipping a single auto attack. Then add in the 6-8 abilities, pet management, and having to respond to both melee and ranged boss mechanics.
