I just bought me this ragnaros jacket during their sale
I have a Horde shirt, I wore it to Fry’s one night while living in California and some person said to me “Horde sucks, Alliance rules” and since I hate talking to people from that day forward I always dress “plainly” with none of my clothing reflecting my personal beliefs or interests.
tldr: no, I don’t buy Blizz merch.
No, I bought an overwatch jacket once and people wouldn’t leave me alone about it
That’s a nice jacket but I almost choked when I saw the price, even on sale.
But i like how it doesn’t instantly scream “video game clothing”.
I quite like the other jackets though they got the $45. I might actually look through the shirts, since there is a sale on.
Nah, I’m partial to in game stuff (like mounts.)
Yeah, I’m torn; Either people would have no idea what it was, or they’d be the opposition faction and make a big deal out of it ![]()
So I’m more prone to spend money on mounts, mainly on the sales. I think I’ve bought them all now? So now I’m down to charity pets/whatever.
I bought a murloc plushie
I still have a horde zip up jacket and malthael themed jacket
I have. Mucho expensive but quality products forsure
I bought the kids book but then had difficulty finding $38 worth of stuff I wanted to get the discount so just settled for the kids book.
I’ve been playing a balance druid way too long to not have bought the stuffed moonkin. It’s a thing that had to happen.
It now sits on a shelf above my computer, watching me in silent judgement each time my guild comes up with a creative way to murder me.
Yeah it’s probably the only thing I like that’s clothing in that store, I can wear it and no one would really tell what it is unless they really pay attention
I will never understand Blizzard’s weird obsession with selling leggings.
Are they that big a deal?
Just did…
First time ever. Thanks for the heads up my friendly MHP. Some nice goodies in there ![]()
Edit:
This is very hilarious and subtle at the same time, too bad it’s only in vulpera/gnome sizes now :
I bought the wow cook book that’s about it.
I am an adult, and that product page has a number of red flags for me.
No country of origin. “Imported.” What does that mean? Made in China with slave labour? If it were a quality item they would gladly tell you where it was made. If it was made in the PRC in a decent factory with skilled labor (you can get good stuff there if you don’t pick the lowest bidder) they would fall over themselves to tell you.
“Material: 50% Cotton/50% Polyester”. What kind of cotton and polyester? There are different sorts, of varying quality, suitable for different purposes.
What kind of zipper is it? YKK? Random garbage? What style of zipper and in what conditions does it excel?
“Midweight jacket suitable for moderate temperatures”. Is that so? What do they consider “moderate temperatures”, exactly? Is it insulated?
No weight listed. HUGE red flag.
“Embroidered graphics” but no close-up of the alleged embroidered graphics. Looks like a cheap patch they sewed on.
Only two product photos? No model? ZERO look at the sides, back, or inside?
What kind of fit is it? Does it enable full articulation for your arms, or does it stretch worryingly when you put your arms up?
“Front pouch pocket” WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? Show a picture of the pocket! Is it zippered? Snapped? Velcro closure?
Holy poop, the size chart. It pops up a “generic size chart” which has nothing to do with this specific jacket. Want to know the chest width and arm length of a medium Rag jacket? WELL THAT’S TOO BAD, HERE’S A GENERIC CHART.
Everything on this product page (and it’s the same impression I’ve gotten every time I look at anything else in the Blizz shop) screams “cheaply made gimmicky garbage produced with no care”.
Maybe I’m too old for this. I’ve got no patience for garbage clothing anymore.
I only buy second hand clothes to save money and be environmentally conscious, also if I have to buy new I only buy canadian/american products to support my nation and our southern brothers.
Ok Karen… You’re more then welcome to call their customer service
nope they stopped selling the horde peacoat that I wanted to get for my husband.
I’ve bought from their store numerous times. Only had an issue once, where I bought a horde hoodie and they sent the alliance one instead. I was able to send it back and get a replacement no problem.
Everything I’ve bought there has been high quality.
I have not. I find it far too expensive, I don’t want to be a billboard, and I try to wear clothes that makes me look like a functional adult. I like the beer steins, but I’d only consider getting one that had a theme at all if it were a different theme from what they have.
