I honestly never understood why you needed an active sub in the first place. Just because you don’t have a sub, doesn’t mean you don’t have valid opinions or that you don’t have things that are worth saying. Some people have concerns for the game, others can’t resub immediately but would still like to get their thoughts out there.

IMO, shouldn’t need a sub to post, but should have limits and an identifier.

Cap them at Friendly rep, can’t unlock honored/revered, and give all avatars borders relating to highest expansion owned. Currently unsubbed accounts would have no border.

Probably do with fact the only want current paying players. The idea is that they in game and experiencing what going on. Thus can give a opinion on how they feel about current game. Not someone who the considers a none paying customer.

Now i think that not bad. But maybe have a forum separate were ones who left and have then post their thoughts would be a improvement. Right now there are few ways of bring them back. if they had a place to go to expresses their concerns. Then that be a step in right direction.

Agreed. When I took a 3 month break before BfA, the worst thing about not having an active account was that I couldn’t participate in the forums. I still had an interest in the game, but no reason to keep paying if I wasn’t using it. I may have even paid $5.00 per month just for forum access alone :slight_smile:

Very nice to know! I resubbed 11 days ago, played for about 2 hours and never logged back in. Game was boring, no allied races interest me, Death Knights have been shafted… No love for my favorite class and no interest in the reveal allied races left me unsatisfied lol. I hear a new LOTR MMO is in the works, I will play ESO until that comes out or until Blizzard added an undead allied race option / updates Death Knights.

WoW, in general, has quite the following of ‘troops’ that are continually dissatisfied with the game, but they haven’t played the game for years. It makes sense that, especially in a feedback sense, Blizzard doesn’t wish to have the forums taken over by malcontent people that are still upset over the Cataclysm, bringing Pandas to the game, garrisons, or any number of things.

Of course, I never could really understand why someone would continue to follow a game that they proclaim to hate with such passion. It’s quite alright if you don’t enjoy the game. Perhaps a new expansion will change that for you… or perhaps not. Go find a game that you really like and play it. Harassing a development team and a player-base because your don’t like a game anymore… just seems like you’re hurting yourself more than anything =(
