I wasn’t being hostile. Did I yell it at you? No. As for the insulting part, if you want to see it that way.
Am I the only one who has a problem with the wording of the post title?
“You “CAN’T” unlock”, “…Until Ulduar “WAS” out…”.
Its GRAMMER Time!
Just because you don’t care how your character looks or their racials doesn’t mean everyone feels that way.
Kinda weird to me that the animations are all you care about in your character, but each their own.
Well I’m in luck then, because I don’t want to play Zandalari or Kultirans

Hey now, animations are everything to me when I pick a race to play, they have to be 90 to 100% perfect or I won’t play them, guess that’s why I only play VE, Human and NE
The difference is our DKs were already on the Horde or Alliance, and
was taught the truth about themselves. Plus its a class.
Allied races were not on anyones side and had never met us, or trusted
either faction before. Regaining the trust of a once ally that admits their
wrong - vs - Gaining the trust of a group of beings that have never met you before.

I got all the AR so far, and I like the idea of unlocking races. It’s a new collection to get and this helps the game. However, I agree the rep grind is unnecessary. Doing the questline is more than enough.
But don’t forget that DKs had a minimum character level in the server (was it 60 or 70?) and you couldn’t have more than one per server. So, making a DK for a newcomer was just as troublesome (not so much for veterans, but most allied races had requisites that you could fulfill before they were available, only mag’har and DI are exceptions so far.
She is right, don’t know now but you had or have to have a level 70 to get a DK, a level 90 to get a DH, Exalted with Hmountain, Nighfallen, Army of the light, Argussian Reach, 7th Legion and Honorbound to get the allied races and we just need to wait a bit more for the Zandalari and Kul’tirans.

Should I point out that the orginal idea behind deathknights was that you had to sacrifice a 70 of a different class to roll one?
That’s such a tediously epic idea. Part of me really wants classic to continue into an alternate universe type thing like old school Runescape did so we see tediously epic things like this come to life.
I agree that Zandalari and Kultirans should have been available as soon as the rep requirements were met, not four months after the Xpac launch.
If that is the case why didn’t we have to farm Blood elf or Draenei rep before we could play them in BC or Goblin and Worgen rep in Cata and let’s not forget Pandaren rep in Mists.
Now I might give you Belfs but all the other races didn’t join their respective factions until the expansion they were introduced.
We didn’t have to up our rep with them and they were playable from the get go.

Dark iron dwarves been in Alliance since cataclysm
Took a lot longer to level a toon to 70 to get a DK than it does to grind the rep for allied races.

Where did I say that I only cared about the animations?? Where have I said that anywhere, any thread, ever? Remember, you replied to me, and my original comment to that poster was that we didn’t receive 6 new races, we received reskins.

Because they were brand new skeletons that started at level 1 with starter zones and no perks.
Allied Races are existing skeletons reskinned that start at level 20 with no starter zones and come with gear, bags, mounts and tabards.
That argument still holds no water, no matter how many times people try to use it.
It would have been hilarious if Blood Elves were locked behind completion of Sunwell.
People would have accepted it in stride because standards were much different back then.

Imagine if this is what we were told in wotlk
If you hadn’t leveled from 1-58 you couldn’t unlock a Death Knight.
‘Wah I bought Wrath I should be able to make one as soon as I created my account’

Should I point out that the orginal idea behind deathknights was that you had to sacrifice a 70 of a different class to roll one?
Was only one class: Paladin. They didn’t like people leveling up “throw away” characters to try out a new class so they scrapped that idea.
Ironically now they have no problem if you want to level up a “throw away” race if you want to unlock heratige gear on a non main character.
Is he wrong, though?
By the way? You’re a shill. The post count is telling.
Well they did not time gate new races in the past. The issue is Ion loves his timegating. I have not seen so much of it in wow, until he took it over.
