See? Depends depends on what context? Context to whom?
Hence why it’s vague or atleast not transparent.
And for the record. I don’t care if we can time a key or not. If someone brought their low geared friend to get carried on a 10 for vaults. Im leaving. Sorry not Sorry. That’s griefing.
A 590 in an 8 key with three others at 620+. Going to leave that key when youd be a carry too? No
Leave a key where a carry is dying every 5 seconds to not having enough life to survive unavoidable mechanics, go for it. The purpose is to succeed.
Its pretty transparent. Again, common sense goes a long way
Not when you say:
If youre just there for vault and can complete it just fine, how is that griefing? Also, why did you wait half way through the run. Why not leave before it started?
Every day I’m confronted by the fact that a large amount of people can conceptually read, but cannot actually parse the meaning of the words that they’ve read.
Yeah, I can appreciate this frustration. I think it’s perfectly acceptable to want a relatively smooth, timed run, and not have to play fight for survival because of someone that’s brought in drastically undergeared.
That kinda group should list up front that they’re bringing an undergeared friend, so folks know what they’re getting into.
I would start here. I think this is a safe bet that if you left just that one, you’ve got 0 issues. If you’ve left, maybe half a dozen like that for the season, i would still argue that you wouldn’t get actioned.
You’re right: we don’t have any definitive, 100% empirical threshold on what constitutes ‘transgression,’ but that’s because - I think - there’s human factors involved, and nuance. I would say that try not to leave more groups than you join, and don’t respond to any whispers from players that were in the key you - the royal you, the editorial you - left.
You leaving because the group is underperforming per its difficulty or someone being carried is causing major issues does not fall under you “repeatedly and recklessly disrupting m+”
Aside from your ridiculous click bait title. They are looking to see who is griefing not who is leaving. this also overstates the importance of having your own group and not just joining some random group or allowing some random to join your group. as long as it’s not malicious, you’re fine.
What if my house in fire?, baby cries?, robery attack?, company emergency calls?, afk for rest room?, sudden police visiting?, or any other situations on emergency? Banning all of these players for leaving?
Thats sucks…
