Did you even play WoW on pvp servers?
Because its hard to have 1 guildy to do this with.
If you have two accounts you obv can. Just not same account both factions.
I really like this rule though. The amount of DMs youâd get from ppl pvping would be so annoying.
Classic wow players are seriously mentally unwell.
I donât need them spamming me to alt f4 my life because they incurred a 2 minute run back
Itâs incredibly annoying time after time to get some idiot and fly all the way to BB, ratchet, winter spring to get this items off the AH and avoid the neutral AH snipe bots (yes there are tons of them)

Nah, angry whispers part is very true, try ganking peeps on retail. Not sure if thatâs a factor âforâ or âagainstâ of allowing both factions though. People come up with very creative slurs!

Makes total sense for SoD
Retail doesnât even have pvp servers. You can always opt out of pvp on any server.
And you can opt out in Classic too. Itâs called rolling on a pve realm. Then you can flag yourself only when you want to.
Anyway, the restriction is good. Especially as they add more world pvp events.

But I CAN make characters of both factions on crusader strike. Blizzard already addressed your issue.

Ah yes another thing that killed PvP servers that isnât just that people dislike PvP when they donât choose it themselves. Add it to the list with flying, dungeon finder, battlegrounds, and class balance.

We can make Alliance Toons(as horde) on CS and then Xfer our horde characters and have both factions.
Alliance can make Horde toons and Transfer their Alliance in and have both factions.
Blizzard nuked our server and we get to have both factions.
Seems like a win/win to me.

this restriction is in part why I am playing on Wild Growth specifically for SoD. One account is Alliance, one account is Horde.
the other reason was faction restrictions meant that I couldnât create characters on both factions of the same server, despite having two accounts
playing on a PVE server for the first time since 2004,⌠it is kinda nice not to have to deal with that aggravating Cheap Shot sound effect when you unexpectedly find yourself on the receiving end of an enemy Rogue.
IKR, Iâm so happy that this time when a friend said we should play together on a PvP server I said no and that they could roll with me on WG and do BGs or PvP events.

just sub in another acc, so u can re-roll your paladin to chaman, like all the other paladins
Well I get tells from Horde, that are on separate Battle net accounts. So apparently, itâs okay as long as you have a different Battlenet. I guess itâs okay? Itâs somehow doable. I havenât done it myself
tbh u can literally have like 10 âwow accountsâ in ur battle net account, u can sub them all if u want and play in whatever faction/server u want, some streamers do that, for content of course, some of them have an alliance and a horde character on the same server but diferent âwow accountâ, u can add them in the battle net account settings
