Removing Challenger’s Peril, reverting the stop changes back to DF.
M+ players have their own stones to roll up the hill.
What does that have to do with delves?
warband ai party for delves/dungeons, ai control my 4 other toons, and play their spec
pvp vault, gear drops
ratings rework
all currency transfer
xmog free
unique bis bop for all prof
I’m gonna assume that this discussion won’t go anywhere now and I’ve explained my point enough.
You deserve nothing when the difficulty isnt the same.
Nice.
I’m not “top shelf leet” but I’ve cleared tier 10 solo on my guys so I’m “above average”.
Yeah, I’ll take it.
The really sad part about it is, it says a lot about where the general player base is skill wise because I don’t keybind, I don’t use any add ons, and I use WSAD to move/strafe while using the mouse to look, so if I’m playing quarterback and scrambling all over the place, I’m only getting off the very simplest off attacks.
Oh, and just a regular 2 button mouse.
So now I’m left wondering, if my control setup is THAT bad and I don’t have any add ons calling out stuff for me and I’m still able to clear 10’s…just how bad are some of these people?
No shade, but I can’t help but wonder.
you can choose to turn off the timer to drop rewards by one tier
this doesn’t benefit me, but it gives people what they’ve been asking for
call it mythic exploration or something
i don’t really care
Give Delve trash less health.
Usually one of the trash mobs has an attack that will do some damage to you if you’re at your recommended ilvl, below or only slightly above. Those guys can keep their health cause they need to be alive long enough to cast their stuff.
The guys with the fears can also keep their hp because they caaaan be viewed as encouraging using your toolset.
However, the mobs that don’t do anything special and really are just meat bags that unnecessarily prolong a fight should lose a significant amount of their hp imo.
Nvm I thought this thread was about how to make these features better.
I suppose a 50% reverse on the mythic squish would give people a better feeling. Even if you KNOW your 10s now would’ve been higher lvl keys last season your brain will still make you think you’re progressing less this season if you “only” can do 10s now. Maybe a less extreme squish would’ve sufficed.
Honestly?
I’d go ahead and make M+ all 10-mans instead of 5-man groups.
That way, more DPS can actually play instead of waiting around.
1-2 tanks, 2-3 heals, 5+ DPS based on group comp.
I miss 10-man raiding a lot, and 5-man M+, nor 20+ large-scale raiding don’t really satisfy that niche.
And Delves, well idk what can be done about those. Idk why you’d play an MMO for a single-player dungeon experience. It’s just not why folks play MMOs to begin with.
I’d rather put WoW down for a single-player game than do Delves, but that’s me.
I know WoW does indeed have a sizeable population of solo-gamers.
you can earn an item that lets you convert a m+, raid, or delve piece to a higher track, this item is bought with crafting sparks so you have a choice between crafting a 636 piece on any slot or making something you already own go up to 639 but you have to spend a lot of crests to make it happen. Keep in mind it upgrades one track at a time so a lfr player could theoretically get a myht track item, but it would take them 6 weeks vs a hero/mythic player who just gets myth gear or upgrades once every two weeks. Could also be leveraged to make crafted gear go to 639, but not decided on that one.
Each week we can buy a coin for valorstones that will let us roll bonus loot in m+ or raid that gives loot at the level of the content you are doing and will drop myth track for m+ at 10, 11, or 12 whichever makes sense. These can be saved to a cap.
Valor stones can be bought with lfr crests at 10 valorstones a crest.
Future delves are more boss less trash, and feature obstacle courses with dodgable mechanics and gimmicks so it’s less like torghast and more like horrific visions/brawlers guild. Gear remains the same because champion/hero gear is actually not a big deal despite people crying about it. The next companion focuses on buffing you or acting like an earth elemental.
Delves have ulduar style hard modes that are part of a seasonal achievement that gives a mount at the end akin to ksm as well as enables the highest vault of delves which goes up several item level tiers but stays hero track. These hard modes should be somewhat like zekvir ? to zekvir ??.
Delves, M+, and raid have their vault requirements halved so its 1/2/3 for raid vault and 1/2/4 for m+ and delves. This is for general qol for everyone since it makes raid very efficient for vault, makes mythic benching less of a big deal, and makes m+ not miserable for aiming for 8 keys a week if you play more than one character.
So you basically want to kill both M+ and Delves permanently? This would make everyone stop playing the game.
Delves should award more than 25 gold
Not really into mythic plus. However CONTROVERSIAL idea here.
If your key is bricked, it should open up as a LFG mythic zero (set by group leader). I’d still like to finish and I’m not a math genius, but my hope is that your RIO would either stay at same level or only increase/decrease the tiniest amount.
If my memory serves in Diablo Rifts you could lower it into a nothing dungeon to the point I could even solo the thing.
Maybe that could be an option. Lower it until it becomes a Follower dungeon (cause I’m weird) in that I prefer to finish things even with lesser rewards
You get loot EVERY run
Mission tables did not kill the game in the past, and it rewarded one item per week or so. I dislike the concept of grinding.
Toss some dynamite into the delve mines and give us another theme and make the different iterations random rather than having them set on a timer.
As for M+ some affixes could be better but I think it comes down to scaling and learning the mechanics of the dungeons. This season made me a better player than I was and made me visit some instances I haven’t seen before.
But they required raiding to unlock those which is another beast and it required you to clear a certain amount of bosses which took a couple weeks and more. Moreover we had titanforging/warforging which kept the game “exciting”.
Revert Mythic Difficulty to how it was before Eternity’s End. I miss doing keys. I really do. I know me and my group would never see a 20, but we were in 10s, proud of ourselves, getting three stars each… I love delves, but they’re not fun with groups.
I would remove the timer for low level keys but gradually introduce all the affixes up to a certain level. Then introduce the timer so you can earn points for KSM and appropriate level crests.
That way folks can learn the ropes on how to meet the challenges of the affixes then master it via the timer.
More explosions.
Make them a bit more like the ones in Shadowlands, a bit more roguelike.
