Because you probably confused it with something else or its automated. Your own post says you can do it as an individual or a guild. Explicitly. Your post contradicts its self with the evidence you provide.
Yep. its IT/business etiquette. You reply to stuff saying its being looked atâŚwhen you cantâ do a thing about it.
not all in the world are on fiber. some are on copper older than I am. rainy days affect copper. wire/infrastucture peeps know this pain well. Wish we could have fiber for allâŚnot always possible.
still the reply goes out saying its being looked at. What is being looked at? fiber that canât be run do to entities whoâd do it canât/wonât. and the weather forecast. Its sunny tomorrow and the rest of the week. the sun will fix the wet copper issue.
To be clear I think ALL rmt is bad. I donât accept the gold when those communities approach and I dont like the wow token and I dont like the bots or any of the paid services.
Its easy to confuse the symptoms with the illness and on this i think people are their own worst enemies.
Blizzard donât ban the bots because they make money from the subs and then because of that RMT enters the game and distorts normal things into something everybody hates. An example I used earlier is the priest offering to heal heroics for 50g in trade. No body is upset at that and I donât think anybody would be upset at what boosting would look like in a world where RMT was properly policed. When you think about it, people coming up with creative ways to offering in game services within the ingame economy is HOW AN MMO IS MEANT TO WORK. its a sign of health in the game that community and engagement is going up. Its the RMT that distorts it and turns it into that ugly beast that completely changes the game in a negative way that nobody likes.
So blizzard donât ban the bots and allow RMT to grow, then when RMT turns normal parts of the game into negative experience people ask for the normal part of the game to be removed rather than the RMT⌠whats worse is they ask for blizzard to put in a wow token to control the RMT because they think that will make it better⌠it doesnt⌠it just make blizzard ignore more problems (like bots) until they can offer a paid solution or worse, intentionally create bad problems (like removing rfd so leveling is hard and push u to buy the paid boost). Blizzard being the RMT provider only creates a strong incentive for them to ignore the games problems or create problems so they can sell paid solutions. Boosting is a million times worse in retail than classic, you have no idea. You literally canât do arena without playing against a gm selling carries until u get past 2200 but you cant get past 2200 because the low brackets are full of 3k players selling carries. You cant get or keep gear to enter raiding from dungeons because blizz reset dungeon difficulty and loot ( a feature that they are putting into wotlk) every few months and the difficluty increase is normally enough most people cant easily do it so they buy wow tokens to buy carries. If you think boosting or gdkp is bad in classic, wait until you see what the game looks like with blizzard being the RMT provider. They literally build content to be sold for in game money as the main goal. In classic legendaries drop from raids, in retail you buy them from the AH and the cost is months of doing daily emmisaries, or no days if you buy wow token and its the best item in the game. Its literal pay to win. Itâs literal Diablo immortal to a less disgusting extreme. Thatâs what wow becomes when blizzard become the RMT provider through the wow token. RMT was and always is the problem with wow and banning normal parts of the game that it distorts and would be fine without instead of seeing it as the issue is mistaking the symptoms for the illness in my opinion. The only solution is to properly ban bots and police RMT.
Also anyone who thinks those fresh servers are for them and not the thousands of bot subs who are gonna set up shop to start RMT on those servers is dreaming. They get your sub money either way. Without new servers youâd keep playing on the one your on and even if you do change, you pay the same sub. Bot accounts though are all seperate accounts because the people who own them have to have bots on every server at the same time, an increase in servers does not increase the number of real player subs (accept for the handful of new players it possibly attracts) but it does directly increase the number of bot subs and then when those servers all die like they probably will, blizzard will watch them die and instead of providing solution, ignore the problem until you pay for a transfer. Paid services destroyed retail are destroying classic.
I started a conversation in /4 yesterday stating that there were literally 10xs the amount of advertisements for swp trash pure buyer farms than actual groups. I canât wait til all these mages are unemployed in wrath. The report feature isnât working at all.
You can thank the automated and broken system. I used to get messages back and then I wouldnât see the ones I reported anymore, but now I donât get messages back saying action was taken and still see the ones I reported. Fantastic system blizz. Tells us to report the boosts in LFG then doesnât do anything about them anymore.
