I know you don’t like not being BIS gear in every phase but the entire point of an MMO like this is stopping you from becoming BIS in an enjoyable manner.

So no, they won’t allow you to spam raids because you aren’t BIS.

Also no, they won’t allow you to buy gear (i.e. GDKP) because you aren’t BIS.

And finally, no, they won’t speed up loot drops because you feel sad that you aren’t BIS.

The entire point of this game is the progressive acquisition of gear. If you don’t like this, find a different game.

R14 weapons are not BIS for anyone. And they take a decent time investment to obtain.

R14 weapons are never BIS.

They are very good, that’s it.

BIS means best in slot in case you forgot.

They aren’t BIS and I don’t see how this affects anything I said in my 1st post.

You are just salty you can’t get BIS gear because GDKPs are banned.

Last I checked there are > 14 slots. Having 1 or 2 BIS doesn’t make you BIS and R14 weapons are not BIS.

Which is why if you google “WoW Fresh Mage BIS” Its not going to show you NAXX gear, its going to show you the BIS gear -FOR THE CURRENT PHASE-. You argument is NO different than saying some random piece of gear from Lich King is BIS. Its irrelevant, because its not available.

It is actually what bis means. Your bis list changes based on what is available. If its not available, it’s not bis yet.

the replacements to r14 are either naxx weapons or in the case of daggers rogues/healers, cthun healing mace and death’s sting, most people who will get r14 weapons in anniversary will never replace them

hunters are the only ones who use a bwl weapon iirc and they don’t replace that until kel’thuzad either

But people who get those other weapons will so those other weapons are BIS.

No one asked what your most convenient BIS list is.

There is a BIS list and there is gear not on that list.

The only part of wow that’s important is pvp. and rank 14 weapons are the best you can get via pvp. In my eyes nothing in raids exist.
R14 weapons are bis.
