You are going to die tonight.. which Shadowlands

Maw for sure.

This is tough. I’d have a hard time choosing between Ardenweald and Revendreth. Venthyr armor is my favorite (it’s the only zone I’ve gotten all of the mogs in all of the armor types), and I love the architecture.

But they have more fun in Ardenweald, and I’ve always loved Celtic mythology (the sidhe, the Wild Hunt, etc).

I think I’d try to start in Revendreth and make friends with the higher-ups and find their secret mirror to Aredenweald. Surely their secret mirror to Bastion wasn’t the only one. It sounds more plausible than the mushroom network having a branch in Revendreth.

It shouldn’t be too hard to find it. Renathal seems to have a thing for me. “I look upon you and dare to feel… hope”, “We face the unending, undefeatable, undefiable darkness… together”, “You and me against the end of reality…” He’s obviously hungry for some enhanced Mechagnome lovin’; those tall frowny courtiers look boring.

Then I break the rules like I always do and enjoy both places. Easy peasy.

Hmmm. Probably Revendreth, so I can marvel at the architecture and tease the very serious goths.

White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise

Do I get to be one of the shadowlands races or do I have to be me?

Can I choose Ardenweald? That’s where I would like to go.

Also is there internet, a gaming PC, and WoW there? If there is, it will be an amazing eternity!!

Bastion, I just gathered 3 stacks of Solenium so I am familiar with the layout.

Wherever the good expansion went.

Super hell.

Sylvanas is the main protagonist for all future WoW expansions. And you’re forced to play them all.

Draenor because while not technically part of the Shadowlands, my garrison is there and I like it.

The maw id say

I probably deserve it

Grizzly Hills.

Yes, I am one of the 96% that chose not to follow the OPs parameters.

Whichever zone has the least amount of sylvanas pls

One of the ones we haven’t ‘explored’ or ‘seen’ yet since they went on to talk about how many different ones there are out there.

Gonna go with either Ardenweald or Revendreth, Maldraxxus is basically Helheim and Bastion would be the end of me (literally).

Of course Zereth Mortis would be nice, pet the Vombata and Buffonids all day and Zen out as an Enlightened monk… but the RAPTORA.

If I was cool, I would say Maldraxxus. Since I am not, Ardenweald.

Bastion is my choice

Going to go with Venthyr since I really enjoy the transmog and the idea that with enough repentance and reflection most souls can obtain absolution. It fits well with how I feel my paladin is played but not all souls are redeemable - I do like how the Venthyr make it clear that some souls are just not willing to do the work for redemption.

…but, but that’s not how the SL works…

This isn’t true. We’re given quite a lot of insight to how the judging process worked.

Bastion = Noble/dutiful souls (not necessarily religious).
Maldraxus = Protectors and those willing to get down and dirty.
Ardenweald = Nature spirits and souls destined for rebirth into the mortal realms. Morality doesn’t seem to play any part since “evil” spirits like Hakkar and Hireek were stuck in pods and cared for.
Revendreth = Morally “bad” souls but with potential to be absolved and cleansed of their various forms of wickedness. Unclear (maybe) if a redeemeed soul just got made into a Venthyr or got to be sent off to Bastion or Maldraxxus (or literally the “infinite” other realms we never see/know about).
Maw = Souls deemed too terrible for possible redemption.

I also don’t get why the OP thinks ZM is a viable zone you get to go to, but I’d pick that on in a heartbeat. It beats being a brainwashed (even though they technically get to choose now…we all know that there will be biases against the forsworn and those who choose not to go through the literal brainwashing) or be in perpetual combat where your usefulness is always in question and the moment you are bested, your parts are repurposed and given to “better souls” to make better champions. No warrior wins all their fights and the being reduced to a work slave for all eternity would just suck.

I know I’m not near bad enough of a person to be going to the maw or revendreth and I’d break my own reincarnation pod and strangle the Winter Queen myself if she even thinks I want to ever come back to this hell called Earth and live “another” life. Quite done with this one as is TYVM.

My ideal afterlife is literally non existence.
