… You buy into “no loot” boost runs.
Remember: they’re offering a SERVICE and A LOCATION as the selling point. It’s their time and your money.
They may attempt to gaslight you and say “you’re only paying for the experience!” then grill you as to why you don’t need the loot (while often being fully geared and not needing it themselves). Another gaslight statement would be: “That’s 99% of the boosts on the server.”
That tells you that 99% of the realm are suckers (by their own estimate) and never really gave it any critical thought.
Consider this… You go to a restaurant because it’s a good location. You order the food and wait.
The chef comes out and hands you a finished plate he just ate of the food you ordered and hands you the bill.
You ask what type of operation this is and he tells you:
“You paid for your food to be cooked AND the EXPERIENCE of being in the restaurant. Not to eat what you paid for.”
Be smart. You paid for the service, location, AND what’s available.
Don’t be taken for a ride.
P.S. Also relentlessly mock those who fall for this scam and gaslight the boost sellers back. I do.
