it’s not free if you put a value on your time spent
it takes longer to make gold in game than to make money IRL and purchase it
the people who used a gold method spent more of their time than the ones who payed for gold obviously

I can see where you coming from, but that has nothing to do with the store mount tbh.
I know someone who even just a week ago was pulling in 2.5M+ gold each day doing profession stuff. Took them maybe 3-4 hours each night, but that’s still 600K+ an hour which is about 3 times faster than working an hour and buying a token.
I’ve seen people pull in millions just by sitting around at the AH for a couple of hours in every expansion since BFA, for some people it’s far easier to make gold in game.
That hourly rate looks much worse once you consider the hours it too to get to the point they COULD pull that kind of money from their profession. To be fair, that is a one-time up-front investment, so the hourly rate just gets better and better from here.
I’m definitely nowhere close to that benchmark myself (which is probably why I’m ignorant here), but how much overlap is there between being paid hourly and making that much? I feel like by that point your compensation wouldn’t be in terms of $/hour and would be more like a salary instead.
You can kick the vendors off, so I’m going to buy it and sit around without the vendors on the mount just to annoy people.
It would take just over 11k people buying one to make the first million. Not sure how many have sold so far, but goes to show people will always vote with their wallet.
At the end of its vendor life, the green bronto was $750 based on the value of tokens. $90 is a steal.
I dunno, seeing $500 in mounts on one shard of one server seems like a lot to me.
A few of my friends have already reported tokens being sold out as well. Blizz has probably sold more of these things for $120 than they have for $90.
Strangely enough people also play this game for fun and not as a time investment to make gold.
this is going to set an ungodly wrong precedent. this game is screwed.
you’re doing an awful lot to justify your purchase lol
No me mon. If I need an AH on my other account I will pop it on this account, which already had the original Brutosaur.
Dude, there’s millions playing this game. I bet like maybe 1% get this mount, but that’s what whales do. They make up for everyone else.
They already do.
Mate I couldn’t care less what you all think, I am having fun playing this game and it’s first and foremost why I play games, to have fun. Some of us just know how to also make lots of gold for minimal effort while playing the game and enjoying our time.
What if I told you that blizzard populates their game with fake players to populate the world and create a sense of FOMO.
…and that is the real point. 100% agree.
im not playing anymore but a friend of mine just sent a pic of dornogal filled with dinosaurs
wow players have what they deserve, blizzard did nothing wrong. let the players eat sht
