I haven’t had any lag issues and that’s with graphics maxed with ray traced shadows on high. My server is across the country and is a high pop realm to boot.
This year, at long last they improved launch and new-patch crowded-area performance significantly with the AQ War Effort patch. They wouldn’t care about fixing it if not for the AQ opening. Even on Classic, that extreme lag in Tarren Mill vs Southshore that made it unplayable in phase 1. And before Classic - all that lags in crowded zones. WoD launch, Legion launch, BfA launch, event areas, raid world quest areas - all were extremely laggy
Good that AQ opening on Classic happened, otherwise it’d be much more laggy.
I haven’t been back out today to do stuff on my hunter, but I know last night it was pretty bad with lag. Which is to be expected with Everyone gunning to try out the new stuff.
Yes I run wow on an SSD with ok internet service where I live. 500Mbps up and 500Mbps Down isn’t to bad.
You DONT have TO capitalize EVERY other WORD to GET your POINT across.
The lag has already subsided. You still get a little bit during the world bosses in ice crown but that’s it. If you’re lagging beyond that I promise it’s on your end.
Most people don’t experience crazy lag, if you do, it’s normally on you.
They’re IS moment it’s server wide, but if it’s consistant, non stop FPS or even latency lag. It’s your potato PC, or your connection.
Also QUIT typing LIKE this OKAY?
WHY do you like SCREAMING randomly during YOUR sentence?
Spoiler, I played the game for 15 years. I don’t have these issues
I can understand Icecrown having some issues since there are so many players standing in one spot camping rares. As for lag elsewhere that’s a bit more peculiar.
Or you won’t, because I don’t, and I play on high pop realms.
Maybe the lag is on your end? My kid used to complain about lag on his video games, and when I looked at his computer processes, I was dumbfounded by the amount of crap he was running in the background.
People were complaining about lag last night in Icecrown, and for testing purposes, I zoomed all the way in to 1st person view on my warrior. Still no lag.
