Yet again the Horde get's nothing

I got no problem with the idea of Horde taking quests from Horde or Alliance taking quests from Alliance.

I just feel like Erevien here ain’t really making that same claim.

Probably not. He’s pretty extreme. I think there’s some truth in it but obviously it’s likely for drama.

Maybe you should keep your rabid leaders on a leash.

Erevien is just the Horde version of alliance fan boys that hated the idea of taking orders from say Thrall but keeping quiet or telling Horde to shut up when we did the same with Tyrande.

I wish. The best we got is we could go against Sylvanas, which does nothing. But hey, we got a toy for it!

Though to your point…

Why doesn’t Blizzard just include an equal amount of Horde and Alliance leaders and just have us alternately take the quests from there…? Could even vary the two sides duties and have us do two separate things that lead back together to show the whole story again…

Gods that’d be nice actually.

Be honest for a moment. Was there ever a Horde leader not named Thrall handing out quests for the other faction during neutral content?

I have not been on the alpha, but expected from launch cinematic the leaders would be Thrall, Jaina, and Anduin.

They gave us this whole council and they’ve done nothing, lol. Have them give us quests at least.

Thrall instantly leaves and only Alleria and Anduin remain.

 i like how this thread is still going.

You had more quests then this but Erivien specified it shouldnt be related to the faction wars.

Heck, we also had Thrall and Draka be part of SL’s non- faction related storyline.

Especially when they bring in characters like Moira and Dagran. (which so happy to see him though).

They surely could have spared a few Horde characters too.

Hmmm… Well we do know we eventually end up in Quel’thalas/Silvermoon, correct? So there has to be some Lor’themar in there somewhere.

But how many would complain about such, especially if it was Baine that was chosen for the quest? there are quite a few that see the Horde council as nothing but alliance simps/plants/etc.

It was related to a faction, If it wasn’t for the Hordes crazy psycho leader, Shadowlands would not have happened.

They told us the answer to that way back in cata:

Of Story Arcs and Storied Orcs

We can guarantee an unfair and inequitable treatment of both factions for now and in the foreseeable future. This allows us to have richer long-term story arcs, another idea that we’ve been experimenting with since the build-up to Cataclysm. To see the factions ebb and flow as their leaders get embroiled in all manner of heroism or skullduggery is like a reward for long-time players.

If it wasn’t for the draenei, the orcs would have never been to Azeroth

Dang

Where? The one you mentioned was an Orc specific heritage quest. The other was a severe side quest. I did quests for mostly dragons and then it moved to doing chores for Tyrande and her daughter. I then went to Gilneas of all places.

While OP greatly exaggerates what the alliance gets and greatly undersells how much the horde gets… yeah pointing out that the last major patch had horde characters in the spotlight and alliance players taking their orders is fair. :stuck_out_tongue:
