Yet again, Mage set requires Specific Talent build

I am referring to the latest season 3 mage set’s 4 piece bonus only works on glacial SPITE for frost.

So the immediate COUNTER WHINEY response would be "so, go spec it, duh… ".

Yeah, well, I DON’T WANT TO.
Cause the frost talent tree to get glacial SPITE frankly STINKS. It’s a HUGE dps nerf to pursue the talent tree in that direction.

But there is an easy fix!
Just give us glacial SPITE as a base spell, or how about give us say 20 extra points to use in the frost tree, cause literally EVERY OTHER talent spec is far more valuable than glacial SPITE, so once we have all the others and 1 point more, then we’d get glacial SPITE.

Or even better, and way SIMPLER, have the 4 piece bonus just buff a NON-TIERED ability.

DUH.

I think that’s solid logic across the board. Why they bind tier to specific talents (and therefore talent builds) is beyond me.

I believe that Blizzard has made statements in the past that they bind tier sets to specific talents explicitly on purpose so that playstyles don’t stagnate into the same rotation for years and so that players can experience several different talents (and therefore iterations of a spec) across those same years.

There in lies the issue mate, you’re using the wrong spell! It’s Glacial Spike.

A buff to it would be nice too, but it is surprising that Blizzard kinda knew how bad Glacial Spike is, in which they had to buff mastery to make Glacial Spike work.

LOL, “stagnate” into the same rotation. That’s why I long since created the phrase BALANCE MONGERING.

With any other business, try that logic. Take a curator at a museum with the Mona-Lisa suddenly one day saying "We’re going to change the way you see the Mona-Lisa, by requiring you use a paper tube and only be allowed to view the BOTTOM of the painting, after stacking 5 icicle’s and then counting to 3 while standing still as the painting is carried into another room. And if the painting gets to the other room before your count gets to 3, you’ll have to start over again. " “And we’re doing this so patrons do not get STAGNATED in how they view the Mona-Lisa”.

While I desperately try to stay as far away from your posts as humanly possible since every single one is a just one long rant about how you hate mage, hate the mage specs, hate all the mage talents, hate the tier sets, hate mage in pvp and hate the mage developers, I’m going to make a suggestion:

P L A Y
A N O T H E R
CLASS.

Literally any other class. We have what, like 13 now? That gives you a dozen other choices. You don’t enjoy it. You only post diatribes on how unhappy with it you are. You seem to think there are no redeeming features of mage. Ergo, mage is not the class for you. Perhaps WOW is not the game for you either, but one step at a time. Do yourself (and the rest of us) a favor and try out some other class. You might just like it. If not, try another one. Maybe you’ll have fun. At the very least you can stop telling us how much you hate mage over and over and over.

Pffft. Yet another SELF-LOATHING FAN BOI.

I’m going to make a suggestion too:

R E A D
O T H E R
P O S T S

Literally any other post. We have what like, MILLIONS now? That gives you a MILLION other posts. You don’t enjoy them. You only COUNTER WHINE on how unhappy you are with Noixi posts but keep reading them. You seem to think there are redeeming aspects to COUNTER WHINE my posts. Ergo, FAN BOI are you. Perhaps Mage posts are not for you either, but one step at a time. Do yourself (and the rest of the FAN BOI base) a favor and read other posts . You might like other posts. If not, try another forum. Maybe you’ll have fun. At the very least you can stop telling us how much of a Noixi FAN BOI you are over and over and over.
.

Bet a copper, you’ll be back.

The frost fire set is also extremely boring, and hopefully won’t become part of the new hero talents points.

I do not like this set at all
