Yes, SL is a Failure

Definitely not a failure when it comes to general reception and sales, just the 1% of WoW forum users that complain about anything

OP just wants attention and an excuse to use the terms ‘failure’ and ‘dumpster fire’ because he/she is very edgy.

It is not a failure when your still subbed and no excuses oh my 6 month sub is almost up quitting then. Only wow lovers buy 6 month sub.

No, SL is not a failure. Yes, I think you are incapable of creating a thread that doesn’t start with “yes,” and has more than a few words in it.

It’s not my job to change your mind. Provide arguments and maybe we can converse. Otherwise, eh.

I was trying to use comedy since Blizzard and Wowhead made a big deal about the limited scope view of pre-sales data.

Shadowlands is absolutely a write off, there is 0% Chance we get 9.3

9.3 includes the ripcord pulling

So if only one person remains subscribed it’s not a failure? The bar is really low for you, isn’t it? It doesn’t sound like you’ve thought this one out.

The ripcord is 10.0.

Well it’s obvious more than 1 so idk.or else the same 50 to 100 wouldn’t be on the forums also there is more people on my server again even if just to clear raid tons of money made and you are STILL HERE SO IT AINT THAT BAD EH? YOUR NONSTOP TROLLING IS QUITE LAME.

Why? You’re entitled to your opinion

Nope I right. People tend to ignore the bad to only see the good. They act like a failed expansion has to be 100% bad.

Even a 60% is still a failure in my books

I liked some of the covenant stories, I liked 3 of the 4 zones. I liked some of the armor sets. And I liked how enhance felt.

However my dislikes are very much there. I don’t like the content drought. I don’t like them excusing everything on covid when we all know they where drinking and playing cod instead of give a crap about the game.

I don’t like how I’m gated to a covenant I don’t like thematically for my class AND spec. I don’t like how alt unfriendly this expansion is. I don’t like lack of customization options after the prepatch and I don’t like how the story is being told. Also the systems suuuuuuuuuck and no one asked for them.

At first when I quit I thought to myself it’s covid but there a chance they’ll fix things later one like they always do and the next expac will be better then this. Now I’m extremely pessimistic like I should be. Something just rubs you the wrong way to be told they can’t do this or that and knowing full well they just been slacking off at work and treating it like a frat house.

Just remember for all blizz fanatics they could 100% added more customization, better class balance, new races, new classes if they wherent messing around all the time.

If next expansion is bad, I’m out.

I don’t care what you think about SL; I’m having fun!

Not anymore he isn’t!

All most of the content creators did that you’re referring to is rant about the game for 5-6 hours on stream or make a 30 minute long youtube video on why the game is in a bad state. While all they did was mount or transmog farm.

Out of the content creators, the one with the most raid content experience and possibly one of the biggest ego’s out there (Preach), has done the same. But think about it, is it because the game is bad or because a player like him doesn’t have the same passion he did back when he was younger and didn’t have more IRL responsibilities (Meaning his wife and two sons).

An argument can be made for the games faults, but if you aren’t playing the content and just listening to a streamers opinions I feel like you don’t have much ground to stand on when it comes to the state of the game.

go play it.

change your own mind.

These kinds of posts remind me of the weird phenomenon I keep seeing in combat sports media where some fans of the sports seem to be bigger fans of the management and promotions than they are of the athletes and compelling fights–Always defending the horrible pay the fighters get by discussing the revenue of the organizations and the dividends paid to their investors (as opposed to raising the pay of fighters).

SL would of been better if they didn’t use WoD’s design philosophy and said screw you to any sort of progression outside of dungeons and raids. Raid or die isn’t a good design philosophy, mythic+ or die isn’t much better either. Eventually people need to learn that MMo simply means many players playing the same game at the same time. It’s a shared experience, but you don’t have to always be sharing everything within that experience with eachother for it to be so.
