Macros in FF14 don’t let you queue abilities so this is probably the dumbest thing ever. In fact, it’s so dumb that it’s easier to just use your normal abilities lol.
They need to give group makers some way to identify before wasting time on such players who is using the rotation assist one button thing.
I know they won’t though.
Why do you feel a need to insult pet battlers? Liking one form of gameplay doesn’t make someone unable, unskilled or undedicated enough to play another.
As I understood the video, the one-button version will be a dps loss. The dps rotation helper will not. I will watch it again. But how quickly you hit those buttons matters just as much. If hitting them slowly not gonna out dps anyone.
Things should never be designed around the .001%.
Also suuuuuuper weird reach lol. You forgot the /s so I think you are serious? I hope not.
Anyways, people that DO have these problems make it work via foot peddles and what not.
Hekili has existed for quite awhile and its problems are well documented.
And there are some specs that just straight up are not compatible with a rotation helper.
I’m looking forward to the uncomfortable realization that some of my crappy/barely played alts will be better off if i fall back to this new one button rotation thing because it’ll perform better than i do
It’s not automated. They do have to press the button for each ability. It is sequenced.
As ecstatic has their weak auras slop? There is not a chance it’ll compare to the addon.
If just by spamming the worst spell, you come out ahead, what value is it?
If it’s just a 20% tax, I think people can get CE with it. (Theoretical optimal button every time.)
People don’t push optimal buttons, so that tax is less than 20%.
I would expect that the 1 button rotation will be below the 50th percentile in the heroic bracket on WCL. And if it isn’t people that are in that skill range will be very upset I’d imagine. I almost hope the thing is actually really good just to see the reactions
See I don’t have to watch a 43 minute video to see what’s going on, I can just spend 30 seconds skimming a topic like this one.
Besides, its no coincidence they decided to film the video in front of bookshelves, to have us believe they might have read one.
In other words: he says he has no hands, and doesn’t know how to play WoW.
Not to mention that your rotation for many specs changes a bit depending on the patch and tier set, which means Blizz will have to lock in to frequent updates based on 1-tier sets, 2-accounting for no tier set, 3-accounting for 2 piece, 4-accounting for trinkets…
I don’t know why anyone would celebrate a game that plays itself that we pay a box price for as well as a sub. Just send me your money please lol
Look up dps rankings, say Mythic Gallywix.
Take 20% off the #1 parse.
Now, let that be yours.
Is it doable? DEFINITELY!
For dev evoker… this goes from #1, down to #49 or something.
88th percentile mythic Galllywix.
Prob only paying like 15% because people don’t push the best buttons.
Its built in toxicity man. Please developers listen to this guy. People using the feature youre going to add because your game is too bloated need to be labeled as untouchable filth.
With this new feature even Elon Musk can look like he knows what he’s doing in video games.
Would be very funny if that’s how it actually pans out. Right now I think it’s very likely that the thing is going to be made suboptimal on purpose in terms of rotation and tax for using it however.
I think it’ll be both suboptimal and taxed… just let it be a cast sequence macro and untaxed.
Better UI for it though.
I’ll take a 20% dps hit just to push a single button.
That is what would make me quit. That right there, and I’ve stuck through since BC
