Thank goodness.
I am loving playing BC w/the old talent trees, the issues with mana and bag space, and, yep, the fact that dungeon runs need to utilize CC and manage aggro and threat.
This is the good stuff.

Idk, we can still aoe pull things with ease in normals. That’ll likely change in heroics. I’ll report back once I’m revered.

It dosent bring a frost mage blizzard slow and aoe pull them down works even in h sh what was known in many ways as the worst heroic back in the day.
Yes trying to melee cleave Cc becomes more needed but a caster aoe group dosent even need a tank till bosses.
In Kara thou Cc is being used least at current gear levels.
Yeah, so far in normals I haven’t seen CC really get used much.
Maybe that changes for heroic.
From what I have seen its better to chain pull, cc when needed, and dps down one target. The mages pushing for more aoe are what cause wipes in pugs. Especially in a couple sections of BF and most of Sethek where the mobs will cc you.

Thing is, assuming everybody is in basic gear and a leveling spec, CC just makes things smoother. I was in a group for BF yesterday, and the tank was just getting hammered. The healer was running OOM after every pull. Not saying this is the norm, but people need to be willing to CC when needed.

You know, an evasion tank would be cool tbh.
Basically this, single-target whatever mob is going to do the most damage/cause most issues (fear, heal, etc) then AOE the rest.
My favorite is pulling a trap target and the other DPS going “WE FITE? OK I FITE” and attacking it. Or the mage “saving the stupid hunter who pulled” by sheeping it.
But yea it is a more fun way to play. 
The hallway before murmur still checks my Paladin ego.
