There are many MMO’s that offer year subs, and most of them offer a big reason (other then saving a few bucks) to get it.
I guess I’m just surprised that the year sub offers nothing really except mounts (none of them are great). You’re asking people to pay up front to pay for time they may or may not use in a month or 2 or 6, and I feel it would be a much better deal if the following (like other games have) part of the Sub
- A % to XP for the duration of the Sub, include Rep (if not current rep at least old rep)
- A extra roll on gear in Raids/Dung or Mythic keys
- A % bonus to gold dropped and by quests
- A VIP building that Year subs can enter and get Daily quests only available to Year Subs
- Extra Tender for trading post
- A buff to crafting and resource gathering
I’m not saying all these I’m saying one or two would be nice and would make the year sub at least to me more desirable, If I am gonna hand over $200 for mounts I could by 4 mounts for $100 at $25 a pop and least pick the mounts I like vs the ones that are just automatically given from the Sub.
Just a thought Blizzard I like the year Sub idea but it should come with perks.

Extra tenders? Sure.
Extra gear with stats? No way.

Are you missing the point that the year sub already has perks? It’s far cheaper to buy a year at a time than it is to buy 12 months in a row. Get this p2w garbage out of here.

Your math “skills” there are a bit lacking, since you seem to be forgetting the fact that you’re paying for the subscription, not the mounts. Those 4 mounts you buy for a hundred bucks aren’t gonna do you much good without being able to access the server.
I have a year sub and it absolutely should provide ZERO advantages over players that pay month to month. Everything you suggested absolutely not. Likely though you’re trolling the forums to see who takes the bait.

This. Let people pay for what they think they’ll use and can afford. If there are some cosmetic bonuses, great. But not in-game perks. Don’t punish people for not wanting to commit or not having the $.

Imagine you wanna try to focus on professions and AH but you will be super far behind people that payed a year sub. Imagine the amount of players that would HAVE to pay year sub to compete early to grind more rep for better items and get ahead of others. Extra rolls??? Imagine Blizzard gave u the option to pay for a lootbox that awards an actual loot, it’s basically the same thing, also how many extra rolls this would imply? Honestly, I don’t think I even want to know. I’m sorry but you should COMPLETELY discard this idea, there is nothing to argue about here.

As a player with a year sub, I don’t want this to happen. The cosmetic stuff is all that’s needed.
